We stopped their service over a year ago because our lawn just didn’t look any better. We are still receiving calls in spite of asking for their calls to stop.

I totally agree with other reviewer. We are a busy family and has no time to take care of the yard and that was why we hire the so called professional to do the job. I have paid them almost $ 400 now and I kid no not, the yard is actually a lot worst than the beginning.
5÷27÷2015 was the first application and ever since they have come 5 times. How can this be when you spend $ 400 on the yard and it is getting worst than it started. Go figure. I strongly advise anyone to cancel their service and demand their money back. Business like this needs to accept the complain and learn from it and don’t do it again. The lack of their response on Unilocal shows that they don’t really care about their customer. Search around. You won’t find a single response from the company to address the angry customers.

Trugreen destroyed my lawn. Burned up the front and back yard. I have never had a call back from a manager. They put in their notes that they had met with me regarding the issue but that is a total lie. Do not use thus service. No professionalism at all. They did tell me I would not have to pay for the service. That is not good enough Trugreen. A week ago my lawn was lush and green now totally dead. More like Trubrown. Beware of this company.

Beware of TruGreen.
We used TruGreen on and off since 2008 while living in Conroe, Texas.
We were sorely disappointed.
TruGreen’s services are not cheap but we are very busy and were prepared to pay their fees on the assumption that TruGreen’s services would live up to what they say in their advertising.
Busy people want beautiful lawns and gardens too and some of them are prepared to pay what it takes to get it.
Unfortunately, TruGreen failed miserably to live up to its advertising. Our lawn did not reflect the amount of money we were paying TruGreen to service it.
We had weeds. We had thin spots. We had insects that were eating the garden.
When TruGreen came to service the lawn their work notes rarely, if ever, made mention of the lawn and garden issues that concerned us.
Our calls and complaints about the status of our lawn and garden always generated fresh promises that always proved to be empty and never led to better services or results.
I went so far as to offer TruGreen what amounted to a blank check: «Do whatever is needed to make my lawn healthy & green. Just keep me posted on the costs.»
I really thought TruGreen would take advantage of this request and, while it might cost me a lot of money, I would at least get the green, healthy, weed-​free lawn that some of my neighbors have.
Despite making this offer to a TruGreen supervisor, nothing changed and my lawn continues to look like it was being tended to by blind folks.
Yesterday I drove around my neighborhood taking notes on who had exceptionally healthy looking, green, weed-​free lawns. I then contacted these people to see who they were using for their lawn care.
Not a one of them was using TruGreen.
In hindsight, I have to admit we were suckered in by TruGreen’s slick advertising. Advertising seems to be what they do best. I certainly don’t consider them any good at lawn care.
Yesterday I fired TruGreen.
Beware.
