Tunnel Rusk Maroon

This is the tunnel system that I wrap up my reviews of the Downtown Tunnel System.
I had known the tunnels existed but my only exposure to the tunnels was a brief second as I was waiting on my Pizza at Bombay to bake. The people in downtown have a whole city that the rest of Houston do not know about. With it’s own dining experiences, shopping, and architecture.
This section of the tunnels was by far the most beautiful. If you are a photographer and want some interesting shots this is the place to go.
The history that these tunnels hold are endless. It’s cool almost throughout the whole system and will protect you from the rain and HEAT.
If you’re a tourist staying in downtown this is something neat to check out, or even a local form the suburbs, it only takes a few hours to walk to the whole thing and you’ll get your exercise while you’re at it.
