I’m never going back to this Tutti Frutti. Yes, it’s close to my house. about 2 min. but I rather go to Yogurtland in Memorial City Mall which it’s like 20 min from my house bc the last time my friend, sister and I went, the Arabian man who was attending that day, was very rude. He yelled at us for«making a mess». The«mess» we made, according to him, was placing a little bit of yogurt we did not want in the trays that are under the yogurt machines, which it is very confusing to me since I thought that’s what the trays were there for? Just like any self-serve ice cream machine has. He was not in the cashier when we came in the store nor offered us sample cups. He was in the back the whole time and only came outside to yell at us. He was extremely rude and was trying to make us buy the yogurt after he yelled at us, even though we said we did not want it. He was yelling and arguing with us for a while, and not listening to anything we were trying to tell him. Horrible experience.

What?! A froyo place on the East side of Houston? I had to check this place out. The service was very friendly and the place was very well maintained and clean. I walked in and(who I think is) the owner offered us to sample all the flavors they had with no hesitation or being annoyed. In fact, he wanted me to try samples I wouldn’t have otherwise tried! The topping selection they had was pretty good. They had all sorts of freshly cut fruits, chocolates, gummy bears, nuts, and more. Only negative I saw was the type of froyo flavors they had. It was a good amount of variety, but they only had common flavors like chocolate, cheesecake, strawberry, coconut, Oreo, etc.(over 16 flavors to choose from) I think I’ll be back for a quick«re-treat» though since it’s around my neighborhood. And yes… Pun intended…

I was glad to know that we finally have a yogurt place to go to near home, but I must say, they don’t really have that many choices. Sometimes, they are out of a lot of the flavors so I always end up getting the same old basic flavor like vanilla or chocolate. Employees looks grumpy and sad at times. If I want yogurt that bad, I would drive to other places but if I’m lazy, I’ll go here. It’s okay.

I would give this place one star, and I wouldn’t feel bad about it. However, the fact that there is a frozen yogurt place in Houston’s east end is a step into civilization for this part of town. The road to Crosby from the inner loop is long, and every once in a while you need a little break… that’s where tutti frutti comes in for me! They have Wi-Fi and tons of flavors as well as many toppings, but my main problem with this place is that they don’t offer an original tart like Berripop or Swirl. Most of their flavors are too sweet or chocolatey-creamy. If I wanted this type of flavor, I would go to an ice cream shop. Nevertheless, I give them points for effort.
