I feared this process was gonna be an awful ordeal. But I was pleasantly surprised. The building was a piece of cake to find. We got a front-row shady parking space. And the office was easy to find inside the building. The waiting area was clean and attractive. The staff was courteous to everyone who rolled through there in the steady stream of TWIC card-seekers. BEST of all, my significant other had finished the whole process(ID verification, DNA mouth swab, retinal scan, and fingerprinting) in less than 30 minutes. I left feeling relieved and stunned by the ease and pleasantness of the entire experience. Great job, Turning Basin TWIC card office!

I came here to apply for my TWIC card a couple of weeks ago and again the other day to pick it up. Both trips were smooth sailing! I walked in and was out in less than 15 minutes! The DMV needs to take lessons from these guys for sure! FYI once I went in around 10:30am and the other was around lunchtime.

I didn’t know what kind of rating to give this place because as it goes for governmental organizations, the wait time to get a TWIC card is a pretty standard, take-half-of-my-day. From beginning to end for just the enrollment, it took about 2 hours, so make sure you bring something to do. I played Harbor Master on my iPhone to make the wait time pass faster. You have to make a second trip here to actually pick up your TWIC card, but thankfully these things last you 5 years. I gave them 3 stars because I felt the service and wait time were about the same as having to wait at the DMV. Government organizations = slow process time.
