Mmmm nope. Never again. I may try Craigslist next time I need a truck or rather ask a stranger if they want a full tank of gas. $ 90 for what was supposed to be a $ 19.95 truck rental for 5 hours. I know theres always fine print but geez. Find another way, highway robbery!

I see the other reviews aren’t so hot. But truth is these guys were fantastic for us. We’ve used them four times the past month. Each time the service and efficiency of the staff was perfect. We used them for trailers and large trucks. Both were great. I hadn’t used uhaul in many years but I couldn’t be more pleased. This is an American company with a long and amazing story and I am glad to say they are still doing great. Thanks for being there for us, U-​Haul.

I rented a small trailer this morning and the guy that helped me obviously had an attitude and looked like he couldn’t care less about his job.
He attached my trailer and hurried me out of there. I got about a block before the trailer fell off the hitch and started smashing against the back of my car. I almost lost control and wrecked. I got out in the middle of the street and reattached the trailer. The jackass at uhaul forgot to tighten the hitch latch when he put the trailer on my car.
I should have done a more thorough check of the connection myself, but I was hurried along by Mr. Impatient.
BOTTOM LINE: Check your vehicle thoroughly before leaving and watch out for this fella with a bad attitude.

Horrible experience. I reserved a trailer Sunday, with my credit card. Arrived Monday at their non air conditioned office to find only one employee working and a line of eight people. Checking each one out took upwards of 15 minutes. Fortunately some customers were couples but I still ended up waiting an hour in a hot building with no breeze for a transaction that should take five minutes, tops.
Not sure if this is typical of uhaul but I’m never going to this location again.

Very disappointed in the service I didn’t receive. I called ahead to verify if there was propane and since it was sprinkling a bit she refuses to fill propane because she doesn’t want to get wet. I’m sorry but if you don’t want to do your job… get a job where you will want to do your job. I’m so annoyed!!!

The rental itself did what it needed to do, but the customer service is horrible. I reserved my uhaual online and scheduled a pick up at 9 a.m. However nobody was there until 9:15. No one greeted me so I waited about 5 minutes before asking what we needed to do. We were told that we were let in as a courtesy and they still had things to do before helping me. After being treated this way we called the manager and still a week later, no returned call. Also, since we were driving off their lot 45 min past the sched time, it would have been nice of them to allow us to keep the truck an additional 45 min. All we wanted was to be greeted and out of courtesy let us know it would be a few minutes while they set up, due to them being late. Very unprofessional, so glad I didn’t use them for my storage.

I have used U-​Haul for 15 years when making moves for myself or others only because they are everywhere. I get so anxious when I have to go deal with them because of all the miserable experiences in the past. This time was so much different. I called ahead to make sure my rental would be available as in the past I have arrived to pick up a truck or trailer only to find out they don’t have it. The lady was very helpful and pleasant. When I arrived the gentleman at the desk was the best U-​Haul store employee I have ever dealt with in all experiences. His name was Jonas Rodriguez and he was efficient, polite, took the time to acknowledge other customers when they walked in, and even hooked up the trailer to my Jeep for me. If I need a truck or a trailer in the future I will go back to that specific location all because of the great service from them.
