After standing in line for about 25 min because only one employee was on duty I was informed he was not certified to fill up propane tanks. If you sell the service or product make sure you can complete the service. 25 minutes of wasted time!

I have used this facility 4 times over the past couple of years. Two of the times were to rent a Uhaul truck, dolly/hand truck, and furniture pads. The trucks on both occasions were clean and ran as well as a uhaul truck can. The third time was to purchase boxes and dolly/hand truck. The assortment of boxes made it an easy one stop shop. I had been pleased with their customer service, selection of equipment, hours of operation, and location. These are the reasons I kept coming back. This weekend was the fourth time and it was to rent a dolly/hand truck last minute since Uhaul would not allow the moving help to provide them. I would have made a reservation if I had known about this requirement. I arrived at 11 am thinking they would have a decent inventory supply, considering it is their own policy that requires this sort of rental and the size of the facility. When I arrived, nobody was at the desk or in the back. After 5 to 10 minutes, I took a business card from the desk and called the number. Nobody answered the local phone so it was routed to a call center. The call center provided another phone number and I was told to call them if nobody arrived within 5 to 10 minutes. Fortunately an employee appeared soon after hanging up with the call center. The employee did not apologize but rather simply acknowledged he did not realize a customer was waiting. Unfortunately, they did not have any standard hand trucks available for rent but had quite a few for sale. Something about the transaction just felt off, which was disappointing considering the great experiences previously.

We’ve been moving since last week and this store has been by far the BEST out of 3 – 4 stores we’ve dealt with around. We moved from this area to Clear Lake and would pick this store as the absolute BEST customer service!!! If you want top rate service by people who care and understand the tedious tasks of moving, come here! Marte and Justin, the manager are both stellar! We so appreciate everything they have assisted us with to lessen the stresses of our move!

I was moving so I needed a Uhaul Truck to take all my things to my new place. When I arrived I thought how big this place was and they have a lot of trucks so there would be no problem getting a truck. When I walked in I approached the desk and I had the priviledge in meeting the General Manager. He was the one that helped me get the truck I needed. My thoughts on how he assisted me was about average. His words were really short and you can tell he really didn’t want to be there. I made the reservation for the next day on Sunday because the mileage is cheaper that day. I was shocked when he informed me that I have to pay per mile. I have rented at Uhaul before at different times and I dont recall that I had to pay per mile. Sunday comes along I show up bright and early the time I was suppose to be there to pick up the truck and no ones there. The doors were locked and the lights inside were off. Okay so what now. So I had no choice but to wait. There were other people waiting for the place to open. They said they have been waiting for 40 minutes. 45 minutes pass by and still no one. I was losing time so we called Uhaul corporate to see what was going on. They informed us that they have notified the General Manager. I guess someone was scheduled to come in but did not show up. It took the General Manager an hour to show up. We ended up getting our truck. Uhaul corporate for the inconvenience they would give us a $ 50 credit. After getting our truck the manager said when we return the truck it has to have the same amount of fuel that we received the truck. He circled on the agreement that it is at half a tank. When we got the truck we noticed that the fuel is full um okay he lied. So we went back in and informed him that it is not at half a tank. He didn’t apologise he just corrected the issue in the system and said we can return it at half a tank. We made him initial and sign saying that we can give the truck back at half a tank. He looked at us all mad but sorry. What if we return the truck and another employee is there and they charge us for a penalty for the fuel nope we won’t take our chances. It is really bad for a business not to open on time. I would not recommend coming here.
