UPS Customer Center

If I could give this location a zero I would. I got here at 9:30 am so I could pick up my package ASAP. They are supposed to open at 10. They finally open the gate to let cars in at 10:10 and they have only one worker there. Hours are 10−1pm. I gave here my package info. She goes to the back and says that my package is in the warehouse because it’s not back there. Then another person comes out and then she says its in the back and a girl is back there looking for it because it is here. So at 10:22 I’m still waiting because a worker had to leave this location to go get my package from the warehouse next door.
The guy behind me asked for his package and they told him that his package wasn’t here and he drove an hour to get here for his package and it’s not here because the driver forgot to take it off the truck. The next guy same story. Seems like it’s the pattern for today. At 10:34 I received my package. If you can avoid this place do. Very unorganized and inefficient.

Sadly, we cannot control the service businesses use to ship or products. I prefer FED EX only because the drivers that come out of this distribution center are the worst in service and reliability. They are suppose to come to your door and if you are not home leave a note to let u know where your package are and the drivers on my route do not do that. It has been going on for months now. All you can do is track you package to find out where it was delivered to and who signed for it. The only way the drivers come to the door is if the package requires a signature from the actual resident. Some of the packages I have received have been beat up looking as if they played soccer at the warehouse with it. All you can do is keep complaining to the distribution center and hopefully after enough complaints they will give the driver a new route and replace that driver with one who will do their damn job the right way. Bad service for good people seems to be the new mantra for these businesses that provide service to communities.

UPS is good for nothing. If I could rate them no zeros, I would. I missed a package delivery, called the 800 number on the back of the notice and the agent said my package would be held the next day and that I could pick it up by 8a. I went to the UPS Customer Center the next day on Sweetwater street in Houston TX at 2p and asked for my package. They said the driver still had it on his truck and to come back that night. I called before Driving over there and the lady said he will be here at 8:15p at night. I went back at 8p now I was told the driver is working late and that they are closing.
Then I called to register a complaint to the 1−800−833−9943. Which probably won’t get anywhere. Don’t waste your time with UPS. They have major communication issues. The counter person even told me their systems are barbaric and that they have issues. Go to Fedex or the post office.

I often see people make a comment about how they wish they could give a place no stars and wondered «wow, how bad could it be?» Well today I found out. This UPS service center is the worst!
I had a package coming that required a signature. I signed up for the my choice program so I could have some control of my delivery times. What a joke! I took off work during when my package was to arrive only to pass the UPS truck leaving my neighborhood as I entered it. I called the customer service number and even after to begging to speak to a manager was simply told their was nothing they could do.
I then changed my delivery option to will call so that I could pick it up instead of taking off work again. I arrived on Saturday to the UPS service and after an hour wait and two people looking, my package could not be found. I was just told come back on Tuesday, I’m sure it will show up. Seriously?

I wouldn’t even give this establishment one star. Absolute WORST customer service possible. The woman I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude. I paid a lot of money for air overnight shipping, and it has been 5 days now with out any package and staying home from work to sign for the package. Now I am being told to drive 45 minutes away from my home to pick up the package. I asked if they can send it to my local ups store, but said I would have to call another number and pay an additional fee. The level up rudeness and incompetency is outstanding. Horrible service, horrible people. These people do not understand customer service. I cannot image how these people have jobs. I was hung up on and given the run around by multiple people.

This place gets NO STARS cause their whole company sent us through Hell and Back… After the trying day husband and I had with T-​Mobile and UPS COMBINED I’m so glad tmobile trained their employees to give complete service! It started a few days ago when my husband’s note 3 wouldn’t hold a charge so T-​Mobile shipped him a new one, tjrougj ups however yesterday the guy didn’t come until after 6pm yesterday and we missed him. so this morning we tracked the package. This afternoon he Spoke with UPS supervisor at this locaton and agreed to pick it up. then he gets a text saying the package had attempted to be delivered at 9am. So we call tmobile who calls UPS on 3 way and the very rude none english speaking Ian (#pzc1kb)didn’t seem bothered by the fact we couldnt find our package. According to ian now the package is in Huntsville ready pickup. .only problem is we live in houston. It as so apparent he didnt care even the tmobile guy had to stress customer service to him. So finally they find the package and tell us we have until 7pm to pick it up in houston So we get in the car ready to go and a ups guy passes with a small box so we stop him and he has the Phone that causes all the trouble… relieved to get the package but. … the box is smashed open, and the phone inside was cracked … after all that drama I don’t even want the phone any more… thanks UPS we really understand in the holiday season you hire anyone wo will agree to treat you Customers like crap and damage their products! !!

Horrible customer service, worst organizational skills ever. They know logistics? Really, they don’t know where their packages are in their own warehouse.

Services of this location is worst.
I have order a package and when i checked tracking status it says «delivery attempt was made and receiver was not available» for consecutive 2 days.
They didn’t even left door tag and my wife was there in home all time.
When i spoke with big idiots (UPS customer service) they asked me to pick it from this location.

I will avoid using UPS at all costs. My son-​in-​law ordered a gift for my daughter and has spent hours waiting for a return pick-​up for 3 days. This pick-​up did not happen and since he had to leave town, he called to reschedule the pick-​up at my home. I have been waiting for 2 days for a driver from the Sweetwater location in Houston, TX to pick up this rather large return item that I cannot pick up. When I called the 1 – 800 number for UPS (twice today) I got an out-​sourced employee from the Phillipines who told me the record showed that the driver was at my home at 12:15
and a person at my residence refused to provide a package. I told him that was a bold-​faced lie as I was sitting near my front door with the curtain drawn back, waiting for a UPS driver. At 2:15 p.m. I called UPS and said I needed to leave for a couple of hours, and was advised to leave the package on my porch with a note. I dragged this package from my garage to the porch and put a large sign to UPS requesting they pick it up and leave a receipt confirming that they were here today. They left no note and no receipt, only a false report to the company that they had been at my residence. At 4:30 I called UPS’s 1 – 800 number again and complained. Finally, they sent a driver back at 6:05 p.m. and it has just been picked up. This has been a nightmare!

I will never buy another apple product as long a they keep using this pos service. I don’t expect to pay 700 bucks for a premium product to get inferior sub par shipping service.
First I set up a will call pick up to pick up my missed delivery. They tell me it’ll be there 7 45pm. I drove 30 minutes, arrive 15 mins early and wait. At 7 45 they tell mendriver will be back 8 05. At 815 I am informed the driver threw my package in the shuffle and I would need to talk to the drivers supervisor, OK cool. She told me she couldnt do anything couldn’t help me got angry an hung up in my face. I was OK till she hung up! How rude! I pay for service I want service. If u mess up fix it! I wasn’t even rude or cuss, asked her to fix my problem, *click*. This is the most in professional business ever! No wonder we don’t use them at work! I will never buy anything that ships ups ever. sSOL APPLE. GET UR STUFF RIGHT AND U GOT MY BUSINESS AGAIN!

I agree… the bane of my existence and the grinch who stole Christmas. Been «on truck» for delivery the last 3 days.
Someone is enjoying my sons Christmas present, and its not him… they tell me it must be lost but merchant can’t request trace cause tracking site says its on truck…

UPS = The Bane of My Existence
There are worse delivery companies… trust me, Amazon is able to seek them out and find them. Otherwise, this would be a 1-​star review.
The UPS issues are more common than not, and if I have any say in the matter I won’t use them. Typically there’s a disconnect with the national call center and the local center, so what one tells you doesn’t correspond necessarily to reality. Add to that the fact that «package tracking» is a bit of a misnomer. I’ve been able to glean from conversations that the tracking done on the website sometimes involves a «physical» scan but more often an assumption that the package made it onto the plane or truck.
This is the location of the warehouse, where you will need to drive to in order to get a package that you can’t get delivered to your home. There is typically a line, and it’s not a terribly convenient location for just about anyone in Houston.
I’m so not looking forward to a visit there today for yet another botched delivery. Yay.

I know it is christmas and you are busy, even I can not ignore the event no matter how hard I try, but please stop throwing my deliveries over the fence.
They do not usually have fragile written on them, but given a hard enough toss even a pillow will suffer.

Yes, my beloved phone was stolen Memorial Day Weekend 2010 in NYC. I was devastated due to my great attachment to that little device. Since I knew I would have to pay full price for the $ 500+ phone, I just ordered a blackberry from T-​Mobile. They sent it via UPS. Most Carriers usually leave packages at my door, but T-​Mobile required a signature! So, when UPS came by and I happened to be at work they just left me a little love note and went on their merry way.
I called the number on the note and asked if I could pick up the package since it was Friday and I was going out of town Saturday. They said I could go to this location to pick it up after 7. He also told me that they close at 8, so pretty much hurry up. I got there at 7:35 and waited in line for my package. I waited and waited and waited. There were only two women working the counter and with about 50 people on that line the wait was crazy. Once I finally got to the front of the line, at about 8:45, my package was given to me and I got out of there running.
Not the worse service ever, but they do need a better system. If you need to go pick up a package I would recommend:
1– wear comfortable shoes
2-don’t have any «plans» for the next hour
3-​be patient
4-​take a book or something to read
5– if it’s hot wear something comfortable because part of the way is outdoors
I am just glad I got my package before the weekend started!
