Van Auto Service

When I first moved to Houston last year, within a few months of being here I needed some work done on my vehicle, and was unable to get a good referral for a mechanic local to my residence. I found Van’s Auto Service through Unilocal.I took my car in and he was very knowledgeable about the work I needed done. He gave me an estimate and we shook on it… (surprisingly enough). Upon completion of the work performed, he honored our verbal agreement on price, and did an awesome job! He also completed the work needed in a timely fashion and had my car back to me within the same day. I have taken my car to him several times for different things it needed, (I drive an older vehicle so she needs repairs here and there)… But Van was honest, and he guarantees his work. I would give him 5 stars but because of two of his staff members who lack good customer service, and one screwed up on one of my repairs. But Van himself is a really good mechanic, and I will continue to give him my business.

Charge same price as dealership, but cheap parts in replacement … Might as well as go to dealership to get better service… plus dealership offers discount, which it makes it cheaper than here.

We have been coming to Van’s Auto Service for as long as I can remember. I was a kid in high school when my parents first started taking their cars to Van for repairs and now as an adult with my own family, I don’t trust anyone else to work on our cars other than Van and his staff. Van is very knowledgeable in dealing with insurance companies if it has to do with any type of claim and he is reasonably price too. The turnaround time to get your car back is quick, and Van does honest work.

Van has been my family’s mechanic for several years. I totally trust Van and he stands by his work.
Anytime someone needs a mechanic I always recommend Van and after their first visit they’re hooked for life.
