Chad and his crew have done several projects for us. As a busy working mom, I value workers showing up on time and completing the projects on schedule. Chad is always accessible and makes excellent design recommendations. His prices are very reasonable too! I highly recommend them!!!

I agree with Ginger V.‘s overall statement. I also agree with the you tube review of this business. It is not about the customer, but the overall work was okay.

I used Venice Flooring first in 2011 in our first home. It was a really good deal. The floors looked so nice and they held up nicely, too, with our toddler. Chad, the head of the business, was really nice and helpful. The workers were OK. They came in and got the work done in a day. They said they had to use 2 bags of floating to level the concrete, but I had my doubts since our home was brand new. It cost us an extra $ 70 for those two bags.
When we moved to another house in 2013 that needed all new flooring, I wanted to use Chad again based on a good experience two years prior. It was a nightmare. He gave us a good deal, I guess, since we used him for the entire house plus a new shower. First, he met us at the new house to pick out laminate, carpet and tiles for the shower. We picked the same laminate as our first house and we picked the medium grade carpet. Although the carpet *looks* pretty, if you get down close enough, you can see right through to the mat. Chad told us that the laminate is the same grade and quality, manufactured by the same company, but it has warped in several spots and has nicks — problems we never had at our other house with the «same» laminate. Also, Chad traveled to Europe before and during our renovation and getting a hold of him was almost impossible. At first, he never even told us he was traveling. I had to find out after calling and emailing several times over a week’s period. He explained he was there to be with his mother for health reasons and I was very empathetic. But, he wouldn’t respond just days before the reno was supposed to start. I became worried. I told him in an email that I would start looking for another contractor if he didn’t respond. He then responded days later with a threatening response that our contract was legally binding and that he was still planning on having his guys do the work. So, the work began the day we closed and took about two weeks, which is still pretty good for an entire house. I bought our own linoleum from Lowe’s for the guys to install in the wet areas. Chad said they had done all kinds of flooring before, so it was no big deal. But, it was. The linoleum is not flushed or caulked neatly against the toilets or the walls. It also has bubbles under the surface in some areas. It just looks like an amateur job. Now, for the shower. It looks great, but we haven’t been able to use it for 8 months! Chad told us to wait 24 – 48 hours to use the shower so the grout could settle. I think we waited a week. Anyway, the first time I got in the shower, the drain was clogged. I called Chad and he sent his «qualified» guys to come back over and fix the drain. The drain worked for about a month before clogging again. I called Chad to explain that it was clogged again and he said he would send some guys over to fix it AGAIN. I still have not heard from him. The grout also started separating just a month after it was completed.
Overall, I am very disappointed. Chad seems like a nice businessman and it’s easy to trust his charm, but he has too many excuses and doesn’t guarantee his work. I believe the quality of their laminate has been downgraded to increase profit, but Chad wouldn’t know that unless the manufacturer was honest with him. His guys are good at installing laminate flooring, but I would definitely not recommend them for any other flooring or other reno-​type work that requires precision, neatness and efficiency. I’d rather invest my money in a contractor that is proud of and stands by his/​her work.
