place is definitely awesome. Food is fresh. the prices are pretty good, they are compared to chipotle or any other fast food casual dining. If you are in the mood for something healthier than McDonalds, go check this place out! Now!

From what I hear, this is one of several places that have made their way to Houston from the Austin area. The chain is growing, and the Memorial location seems to be one of their more quiet establishments in the suburbs.
I’ve been here about three times– once when they first opened, once with some friends to introduce them to it, and once for their five year anniversary. Except for the grand opening, it’s been pretty quick with no real wait to be served.
The customizable concept allows you to pick a setting (pita, wrap, salad, or rice bowl) and a protein (beef & lamb, chicken, beef meatballs, falafel) and build from there with vegetables, dressing, cheese, etc. I normally go with the pita, since that’s the traditional German street «kebap» from which they drew their name.
The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. The rotating spits of beef/​lamb and chicken create a nice atmosphere and a delicious smell from the moment you walk in. If you order fries or chips, they’ll throw them right in the fryer in front of you and cook them.
I normally try to find a knock on any place I review just to be balanced, but it’s hard to do it with this place. I mean, yeah, their drink station could be cleaned more often, but with how quickly they get you through the line, I can understand a slight mess here and there.

It’s never really busy so the wait time is short. The manager is organized and very nice. The kebabs are astonishing. I get the fresh beef with lamb add spicy red sauce with a little garlic sauce. They switched up the restaurant recently and I’m digging the new Mediterranean style they have going on. Keep it up

One of many restaurants that has transplanted itself from Austin to Houston. The concept is similar to that of Chipotle where you first choose if you want a pita or a bowl for either to eat in or to go. Next, you choose your meat and then whatever fixings you want to add.
I love the fact that all food options at Verts are super healthy. I ordered the Gyro pita to go with their yummy sweet potato fries and loaded a lot of healthy goodness within the pita.
The taste was fresh and I enjoyed the fact that even though this is «fast food», eating it did not make me feel like I was ingesting a greasy mess.
They also offer local craft beers which is cool.

My friend and I had a terrible experience here as first-​timers at this place. The hummus and quinoa (the main part of the quinoa bowl) were extremely oversalted and when we told the workers, they didn’t even try it to see that it was inedible.
2 stars because they atleast gave us extra falafel to make up for it. Won’t be coming back here though…

A really great place! This was my first time ever going to Vert and I’m really impressed! I didn’t think they would be able to match the shwarma wraps I can get at an actual Middle Eastern restaurant, but they were pretty close! I was surprised how good the size and quality of the meat was and the ingredients tasted fesh and crisp. Definetly will come back and give another location closer to me a try.

To recently become gluten free was challenging to find a place to eat not here! They have a variety and everything is so great to the taste. Highly recommended

Had Verts Kebap at a different location and LOVED it, so I had high hopes coming here. Sad day. The meat I got was in little dry, charred bits and tasted «off.» Wasn’t what I was craving (or expecting) at all!

My salad was delicious! Loved the choices of fresh ingredients and the dressing was perfect. I topped my meal off with the beef and lamb shaved fresh. Spectacular service and I love the fact that they carry cuvée coffee. I will be returning!

Great customer service and the food is always amazing. French fries are always warm and fresh!

To keep it short and sweet this is fast food Mediterranean style fare. Super fresh ingredients, and the fries are dropped in the fryer when ordered, you won’t get warm soggy fries here.
This place is a great lunch spot and can be a healthier option with a Schwarma salad. I like to to switch it up between the vertz (Schwarma stuffed in a pita) and the salad.
From a cost stand point, an entrée with a side of fries will run you about $ 10, throw a couple more dollars in if you’re ordering a drink.

After seeing this chain pop up around town and hearing the commercials I was curious. I went in not knowing what I would even want or what to expect. I was greeted with a smile by D.D. I let her know that I never been here and wanted to look at the menu a bit. D.D. said well we love 1^st timers and proceeded to tell me of all my options. I was not real sure so I said «I like the way that one looks» and pointed to the picture on the menu overhead. D.D. said «you got it» she took the time to explain everything to me and with a cheerful smile. My sandwich /​pita was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be going back. Thank you D.D. for making my 1^st experience a great one. ;)

BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES OF MY LIFE!!! Do yourself a favor and order the large sweet potato fries cause the regular size just isn’t enough. It’s also good to get a kebap on the side lol those are good too! I recommend the spicy red sauce on the lamb and beef kebap. Clean location, fast service, good food.

Hey Guys had to jump on here to mention how wonderful the food and service were the other night when I stopped in to pick up dinner to go. The guy (didn’t catch his name) and DeDe were super funny, helpful, and nice as you could ever get. I had never eaten at this chain before and they walked me through the food and helped me with all my questions. They even let me get samples so I wouldn’t order a sauce I hated. The sweet potato fries were great!
I really wish these guys could train employees at all restaurant chains. They were awesome and you just do not see that anymore!

Good food. Poor service. I keep coming back for the addictive hot sauce and «healthy» meal options. However list last trip left a lot to be desired. 1) unfriendly staff 2) Long wait time for staff to reheat meat. 3) charged for a large sandwich when I ordered and received a small 4) they gave me a small order of French Fries when I ordered a large. 5) Blamed corporate policy when I complained about the 12 French fries in my «large» basket.

A cant beat for quality fast food.
Not too many options but just enough where anyone should be able to fashion a meal they enjoy. Excellent sides and selection of beer. My experience was great. First timer so the helpful staff recommended somethings for me and I really enjoyed it.

Well according to the positive reviews for the other Houston locations, it looks like I came to the wrong one. :(
I cant even finish my wrap, the meat is so tough and dry! I got the beef/​lamb wrap and the meat they gave me had just been cut off so im not sure what the problem was.
Pros: The sauce is good, the veggies are fresh. The concept is simple and cool and i like that they serve unique beer in bottle and tap.
I’m going to give this place another try at a different location but i wont be returning here.

Yummy kebaps (German meat sandwiches) with tasty lamb & beef meat and fresh bread pressed to warm it up (better than Panera pannini bread). I ordered extra meat and went with the garlic sauce (yogurt dill and garlic). Fries were great too. Friendly manager helped us along the line as we made our selections.
GF and I came for Saturday dinner. We haven’t had Verts since going to school at UT.
