Friendly people, delicious products, plenty of samples, YESPLEASE! We just bumbled into Vom Fass and are so glad we did. The folks here are so pleasant and more than willing to tell you about their products and let you have a tiny taste. Once you have tasted, you’re hooked. Hub and I are passionate cooks, and dedicated picklers. This place was right up our alley. We have picked up several yummy vinegars to work with and are very much looking forward to trying more. If you are into oil and vinegar, this is a must-go destination.

What a fun store. Great service and educational. Cannot belive how many different oils and vinegars exist in this world! The orange oil with pear vinegar is amazing.

The idea of this shop is to broaden your taste experience and excite creativity. Our shopping centered on the oil and vinegar sections. Time was the limiting factor. Our docent, as it were, spoke as an expert well beyond her years. She digs her job and is a very competent guide. Trichina has an educated and sophisticated palate. Happy with our purchase and the expertise of the staff.

A small franchise that sells high quality oils and vinegars poured from cask like containers and priced per 100ml. You first need to purchase a container from them, then they will fill the container with your choice of oils and or vinegars. The containers cost anywhere from $ 2-$ 8 and vary in size while the oils and vinegars cost about $ 7-$ 10 per 100ml. Essentially, you can expect to pay about $ 17-$ 20 for a 200ml container of vinegar. It is good stuff, but I’m thinking this place is more like $$$ rather than $$.

Stopped by after lunch and I’m glad I did. Spoke with the owner, incredibly nice guy. They have a great assortment of spices and he was very knowledgable and very helpful. Picked up Pimenton de La Vera, Fried Potato Spice, and Danish Smoked Salt. Along with some buttery flavored cooking oil. Absolutely loved the Potato Spice. Don’t leave the store without getting some. A must have in your spice cabinet. There speciality also is a very large assortment of vinegars. Highly recommend this place.

The store was amazing, and customer service was even better! The manager convinced me to try a Chinese lemon infused vinegar that I ended purchasing. You’re able to taste and smell all of the products before purchase, and they have a wide variety of unique blends that I haven’t seen at other similar shops. You’re able to bring in your own containers and have them filled. The original shop is based in Germany, and carries a little charm. Definitely a return customer!

I stopped by Vom Fass after stopping by Sephora across the street. I needed more olive oil, so I thought I’d check this place out! Good customer service. I wish we had the ability to try things out without having to enlist the help of someone working there, but not a big deal. It was great being able to play with different varieties of vinegar, oil & spices. Fun place to peruse. :)

After getting tacos next door, we were heading back to the car when I spotted this spice store. They have a large wall of spice blends, another wall of vinegar, and an oil section. I was surprised by some of the more unusual offerings — fig and chili vinegar, pumpkin oil, etc… They have a gift section which is perfect for the holidays but in my opinion, the packaging is a little cheap looking. I would probably buy and bring my own container to fill. We really enjoyed smelling everything, I just wish the salesperson had been a little less pushy and given us some space to browse.

Vom Fass is a new store opened for only two weeks thus that specializes in oils, vinegar’s and spices of which many are quite exclusive. I wish I would have asked what Vom Fass means, but I guess I’ll have to do that on the next visit. They have the oils grouped by more of oils specific for cooking and tasting and a large variety of infused oils with each one with a nozzle to try in these cute little tasting spoons. The same can also be said for the vinegar barrels too. I didn’t have time to further inspect the variety of spices but I’m sure I will on my next visit in the immediate future. Two thumbs up on Vom Fass! Cheers!
