Waffle House

The waffle was good but everything else was not impressive. The waitress was very nice. The place has limited booths. They have counter dining. The price was average.

I love coming here in the super early morning… like at 2 or 3 am. The only person I love here is Cherie. She is super awesome and attentive. I only have one problem with this place and that is everyone else always seems so angry. The cooks are fast and pretty efficient.

Today’s visit wasn’t the greatest at Waffle House at 529. The service was crappy. I ordered to start a hot chocolate with whip cream. For my meal a bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and a chocolate chip waffle with a lemonade to drink. My burger was missing the bacon so I asked for them to bring it to eat my burger. I waited a little bit and had to ask again. After that I still didn’t get my lemonade with my food. I tasted the lemonade and it tasted like it had cleaning solution in the machine so I sure as hell didn’t drink it. I paid for it even though it was left on table. I told the staff about the drink and they said oh yeah the lemonade is nasty. Why serve that if you know it’s gross? They were not even busy to make us wait so long. My hubby ordered large bacon crispy and a classic waffle with coffee. Breeana must be new server because she didn’t really know how to request our meal. I like going here when it’s late night treats but after today this has caused me to think twice to come back. Very disappointed in the service today.

This Waffle House rocks!!! Friendly staff, good & hot food! I’ve been over a dozen times and never a complaint!

Waffle House has always been my favorite breakfast joint due to their hash-​browns. It’s just for the longest time there were only a few in Houston and far from me. It’s great to see these popping up more and more in the area.
Everything this evening was cooked perfectly and served hot. Great location and friendly staff.

This is, by far, my family’s favorite WH location. Wait staff is always friendly, service is quick, and food tastes great!

Super fast service and the food was good! I ordered the All Star breakfast with a pecan waffle and it was delicious!

Great place to get a quick breakfast. My friends and I go over here to get a lot of food for a good price. Staff is always overall pretty friendly. Waffles are awesome. The only complaint I would have is that this place is small, and it gets packed pretty quickly on Saturday mornings. They only have 5 tables, but bar seats are good. Other than that though, I can’t complain. I get two waffles, ham, hash, and eggs, and polish the plate :)

You can’t expect more from this place… It’s fast friendly and easy in and out. Been to plenty Waffle House and I’m glad this one is close by. I’ll be returning for sure.

The service here is always friendly and the food is also great. The reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because the place is so small! I would have liked it if they had made the place a bit larger for more people because the majority of the time, I have to sit in a different area than the people I come with.

We eat here on occasion. My kids love breakfast for dinner so we will come in the morning or at dinner time. It’s a newer location that opened in 2012, so it’s still pretty nice and clean. The service we get is usually pretty good and the food taste good for a greasy spoon kind of breakfast! We typically get waffles, eggs, grits and raisin toast. Their grits are by far the best I’ve had. It would be nice to have some fresh fruit options to go along with breakfast. Our family recommends it.

I’ve been here at least five times sporadically since it’s been open– it’s a wait majority of the time because the food is good AND cheap, duh. If you don’t want to wait, don’t be late during the morning LOL.
I normally go in the evenings, (it’s always time for breakfast in my book) and the service is always friendly and quick. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but defiantly worth it. Watching the cooks during the busy times is entertaining.

I live in neighborhood behind this place and couldn’t wait for it to open. Total waste of time, long wait for cheap food. Better to drive a little further to Franks Grill
