It’s walmart. You know the deal. No need to explain. The location sucks. You can’t get to it without stopping at a number of traffic lights. And the lights are always timed so that you stop at one then stop at the next and stop at the next. If there was a vote on the worst intersection in Houston, hwy 6 and 529 should be on the ballot and this is where this store is located. When you make it to the parking lot, its packed, and people who cant drive are driving around in circles looking for a prime spot rather than actually walking and getting some exercise. Again, its always packed here unless its 2am. I wouldn’t want to be around here at 2am. Don’t go if its 2am. I cant dog the store because of where it is so I’ll just leave the store as it is which is a-ok.

I asked the store manager if they would consider ordering at Carolines cart. This is a shopping cart with a seat attached for a disabled adult. If you are the parent, or a caretaker, of a disabled adult, you know how invaluable a Caroline’s card can be. Well, the manager just basically blew me off. He told me that he could not order one, nor could he request one. When I reacted with incredulity, he finally allowed as how he might be able to make corporate headquarters aware of them. Gosh, how helpful. If I could give them 0 stars for customer service I would.

The employees here need a little bit of guidance when it comes to how to treat people. I wanted to buy a ring last year so I went to the jewelry counter and asked the lady behind the counter if she would let me try the ring sizer to find out what size I needed and rather than handing it to me she scowled angrily, grunted«Here!» and threw it hard down onto the glass counter top. I don’t know what else was going on earlier to have made her upset but I didn’t like that it was taken out on me like that. Last week I went to self check out during the early morning hours. I had two orders. One had some stuff that I was getting for my mom on her card and one were two things I was buying for myself on my card. I paid for the first set of groceries and was about to start scanning my second order. I was about to scan my pair of pants and cat food that I was buying next but when I turned around to see the attendant grabbing the pair of pants out of the top of the basket and starting to walk away with it. He said«You don’t want this?» I told him I DID want it and that I was trying to split it on two different orders. He looked at me suspiciously like he thought I’d been trying to steal them. I told him that one of the reasons I came to self checkout was that I could split my orders easily without having to explain it and that I’d have to be pretty hard up to steal cat food. He didn’t say anything, didn’t apologize, just stayed silent and stepped back, watching me like a hawk. I felt very offended by being treated like a criminal before I’d even stepped away from the self checkout. If I had started to walk away with the items still unscanned in the basket then I think he should have said something, but I hadn’t gone anywhere. I was standing there and he assumed I was trying to steal before I even got a chance to scan my second order. I am very angry about this and I think that the management needs to train their employees to be more respectful. I get that the store is located next to some scummy HUD apartments but don’t assume everyone who comes into your store is bad.

Three stars because I’ve been coming here for years. Hardly any issues ever. Besides that they need more registers open. All the time! Why have 30 registers and only use 10 for the busy time of the day. Ridiculous. I rarely come here anymore because of this issue.

Every walmart is the same. Busy. Some places are clean but the bathrooms are not. Can’t say much.

VERY, VERYUNPROFESSIONAL. A cashier rung me up while on her cell phone…& she didn’t even greet me; but then again… they never do! Don’t even bother asking for help either. I’d rather have hemorrhoids and diarrhea than to EVER come here again!!!

Alright couple people are great but there are that select few that are just trash. Those people don’t appreciate or care for the customers, as for the rest of the good work ethic hearted people there great and make oneself feel comfortable. Other then that the hiring manager needs to check his employees.

I like my Walmart. I know where everything is(sorta) and associates here are friendly. It’s also one of the cleaner Walmarts in my opinion. Outside of that, there’s nothing particularly special about it. The pharmacy is not well organized. Aisles are too narrow and it’s under-lit making it difficult to find what you’re looking for without having to ask for help. I’ve rarely been able to fill a prescription here due to them being out of medications. As with all Walmarts, the site-to-store is at the back of the damn building. That makes zero sense to me. A big part of the reason that I order on-line is for the convenience of it! It’s extremely INconvenient to have to walk to the back of the damn store to pick up my order. They should have a drive thru for it. That would make me happy! :-)
