Dr. Mai and her staff are all very friendly, polite, professional, and overall provide pleasant interaction. I appreciate that Dr. Mai speaks to me as a knowledgeable adult, unlike some other practices that treat me as a naïve child. Also, I don’t feel like she’s just trying to get my money; in fact, she repaired my previous glasses when I was about to buy new ones, and switched me to a more affordable contact lens when one became available.
I’m glad I found this office, and I plan to continue coming here for my eyecare needs!

Dr. Mai is fantastic — she acts more like a friend than a Dr.
The staff are all nice and friendly as well and they always call to remind you of your appointment.
The office is nice and clean and they have an okay selection of frames to choose from. And when they don’t have what you need they will source it for you.
Delivery time of new frames is also good — same with contacts.

The optometrist is more concerned with making money then patient care or accommodating patient needs.

my next optometrist has some big shoes to fill now that I’ve moved to austin & will no longer to have Dr. Mai as my optometrist.
I have had such good experience with west vision. the staff is always very friendly & professional. they are always very pleasant on the phone, going out of their way to ensure you are happy & are well taken care of. they make you feel like you are the only patient they are serving.
they stick to their schedule, ensuring you do not have to wait when you’re scheduled. they also work very hard to help you when you need help, whether it be to reschedule your appointment asap if something comes up, or faxing your prescription when you need it.
Dr. Mai is such a pleasure to work with, as she is very friendly & efficient. I will definitely miss west vision now that I’m no longer living in houston.
