This was a really pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good, but it was a lot better than I thought. I didn’t place the order on the food, so I’ll do my best to describe some of my favorite dishes I got to try there. We ordered a lot of food(like 15 or 18 dishes), and overall, most were really good. Food: Vegetable/Minestrone soup(5⁄5): This was the first time I ever had a tomato based minestrone vegetable soup at a Chinese restaurant and really enjoyed it! It was very light and healthy, but full of flavor and different textures. Stir Fried Beef(4⁄5): This was another memorable dish that I really enjoyed because the beef was really tender and made well. Service:(4⁄5): Maybe we got lucky because we knew the chef, or maybe they really do have good service because the waiters were attentive and service was quick. I also really appreciated the fact that they were willing to bring out clean smaller dishes to put the leftovers on to clear out the table before the next dish comes out. Most places will just try to squeeze everything on the lazy susan and then you end up knocking everything over as you’re spinning it to get what you want. Overall, really good place to eat. Definitely will try there again.

Been wanting to try Wing Kee for about a month now. Stopped in for dinner on a bustling Saturday night. While waiting for our food I noticed how lively the restaurant was… from the tables being bused, cashier on the phone taking togo orders, to the conversations & laughter of the other patrons… this was music to my ears! Food comes out quickly, water refilled often, attentive & friendly staff. The food is good & reasonably priced. *in my best Terminator voice* «I’ll be back!» My preferences in this order: 1 — Salt & pepper capelin(love this entrée) 2 — XO stir fried(yummmmmmm) 3 — Prawn & scrambled egg(kids cleaned the plate) 4 — Salt & pepper pork(hard to mess this up) 5 — Fu Kin tofu(tofu had a slight sour taste to it, but my wife assured me that’s how some types of tofu taste) 6 — Beef in honey pepper sauce(least liked, had a curry flavor to it which threw me off)

Slowest service and salty dishes probably cooked with too much msg. If you are going to come into this shopping center, you may as well eat at Cajun Kitchen where for sure your appetite and wallet will be satisfied.

We have tired wing kee several times. Lunch special is a good deal, but not every dishes taste great! Some dishes are salty. We tried Kung pao chicken and curry beef brisket this time, not recommend those two dishes! Beef is too old, and Kung pao chicken is not spicy. For me, I recommend shrimp with scrambled egg, it really worth to try.

The two of us ordered two dishes, egg fish and fried tofu. Both were excellent! Had leftovers for tomorrow too. Highly recommended. Not many people knew that wing kee is reopened and therefore not many people were there.

I so enjoyed eating at this restaurant… the food is not only delicious but so beautifully presented and served. I could taste the freshness of the food and it was prepared perfectly. The staff is friendly and fun. Very family friendly. I live in Richmond but it was definitely worth the drive. I’ve eaten there twice and was pleased both time and I know I’ll return again and again.

I’ve been here several times since the place open. Lunch specials are great as well as their price. Dinner menu is just as good! Wait staffs are very attentive. Food was great! I give this place a five star because of the following: Cleanness a restaurants restroom tells you all about their hygiene. Food quality Food delivery time Price Service

Excellent prices, excellent foods, excellent prompt service. Typical Cantonese restaurant in a strip mall located on Wilcrest by Bellaire; minimal interior decors, simple Chinese-language-only menu. YET, I love this place already! The boneless chicken baked in Portuguese sauce over rice was really really delicious, and so was the fried flat rice noodles with shrimp and eggs in gravy. The husband and I are fans of Wing Kee without a doubt and will definitely go back, hoping that the menu will become more extensive.

Good service and great food. Been there twice during weekend lunch. Recommend fried shrimp with scrambled egg(the texture of the egg is smooth and silky), green beans(stir fried with jalapeño and meat sauce), House special pan fried crispy noodle and fried shishamo(fish with eggs). They also offer lunch special on weekends. Great value! Will return to try more items. 多春魚很多蛋很好吃(有點偏鹹), 招牌煎麵 跟 滑蛋蝦 口味都很好, 京都骨有橘香味, 目前很推薦這間店! 希望可以維持好品質.

When I heard Wing Kee reopened I jumped for joy! The drought was lifted after so many years and I had to visit asap! When I finally got there with my party, we couldn’t order anything because the menu was in Chinese(English version soon to come)!! Luckily, we had another friend on the way who reads Chinese and she saved the day! We got to eat! The Host was a very friendly guy, he cracked us up throughout dinner and made suggestions as to what is good. Everything was fresh, yummy and satisfying! And I am not just saying this because I missed their food. Too bad I don’t know any of the names of the dishes we ordered. But I will definitely return and order by the pictures on Unilocal

I used to eat here all the time when I was a kid so I’m really glad the owner decided to reopen this restaurant. My favorites are definitely the claypots that he makes(mainly the salted fish & pork patty as well as the egg and beef). The menu was still in Chinese when I went last week but once they have English menus they’ll get a lot more business since a lot of people can’t read the menus. I also like the salt & pepper pork ribs because they’re crispy and juicy at the same time. They also have lunch specials that I have yet to try but if I recall correctly it’s like $ 5.99? Per entrée so I’m excited to get that the next time. They take credit card now too so it helps :)

Fast, fresh cantonese food. Menu was all in chinese. Stir fried flat noodles were delicious. I saw ppl order salt toasted pork chops, eggs & shrimp along with other stir fried noodles. I will be back once their menu is finalized.
