I can’t believe I haven’t found this absolutely delicious restaurant. Sandwiches are awesome. I’ll be back, probably this week. What a find!

I am definitely the biggest sweet tooth in Houston! Their desserts are literally melting in my mouth! If you want to know what are the musts-to-try, they are assorted cookies and a pecan pie! Not only do I like these sweets, but my colleagues cannot spot themselves from eating these culinary delights.

World Catering Bakery is one of such places, which you may daily drive by, but never visit. I am happy that I finally decided to break my habit of rolling by and dropped in to explore what it was. Since then I’ve come there a few times for late lunches. Their dished made of qualitative ingredients and very tasty! I cannot wait to go there and get another soup, sandwich, chicken salad or blt! Don’t waste your chance to try their baked goods!

Cake purchased for a special occasion was dry and not impressive at all. I went here because all these good reviews but I don’t know where all this hype is coming from. Maybe pastries are diff from their cakes but, Rum cake which is suppose to be moist turned out dry and I will not be coming back. Perhaps I should of known when you sold me cold coffee and although you knew(no! microwaving coffee is not an option) you still charged me for it.

Very tasty, definitely a more local & private feel. There wasn’t a wide selection but the selection there do have is bursting with flavor. The service was okay. I just had the Danish and cookies and it is so scrumptious!!! Sweet. And fresh!!! Love love love! I will return for these delicately flavorful treats! It’s so hard to find good pastries and this place fulfilled my needs. 10 stars to the chef!

This is one of those gems you drive by everyday and never know is there. Located on the east edge of Spring Branch it gets lost, stuck between a car dealership and the Marquee. We come here Saturday mornings for late lunches and are always impressed at how good the food tastes and how much better quality the ingredients are. The BLT, chicken salad sandwich, and they’re soups are all amazing. Their baked goods are also legit.

Having visited a client nearby, I decided to reward myself on a Thursday afternoon for making it through a hard week to finally see Friday on the horizon. I was graciously greeted the moment I stepped through the door to the moment I left. Granted, it was near closing time so I didn’t order a meal. The baked goods stood out to me instead. The lemon tart was divine! Just the right amount of sweetness, tartness, and buttery crust for my taste buds. I decided to save half to take home. Then I remembered about a dinner I am hosting in a few weeks and asked for ideas about desserts to compliment. Monica, one of the pastry chefs, was a delight to speak with: attentive, positive, and great recommendations. Just like that, my dinner has almost been finalized! I have found my next favorite place to stop whenever I am back this way to see clients. That flourless chocolate cake has my name written all over it!

I love this place! Came here after someone ordered a cake from them and it was amazing, so moist and not overly sweet. I decided to give them a try and have ordered 2 cakes from them since. I’ve only ordered the white cake with buttercream frosting and it’s perfect. Everyone always ask me where I got the cake. Their food is also really good. Everything taste home made and wholesome. Their Cuban sandwich is delish!

World of good food and pastries. I have finally found a place where you have a daily special, along with a simple menu and healthy proportional entrees. This establishment has the old time café personality. I like to take my clients here for lunch. You don’t have the wait and the employees know you. Don’t forget the cookies and pastries to take back to the office. The Sugar free carrot cookies are fab.

Best kept secret in Spring Branch! Delicious desserts and breakfast. Also serving lunch with daily specials, burgers, soups, and salads. Today I had the turkey and Swiss sandwich on toasted wheat with a side of pasta salad. Yummy! The pasta salad was made with penne pasta, had a nice balance of dressing to olives, pasta and veggies. The turkey Swiss was also very good, with the perfect amount of mayo and topped with lettuce and tomatoes.

Oh wow! Unilocalers really nailed it on this one! I didn’t know what door to use so FYI the entrance to the café is on the left. The cozy vibe of this place is on point! I came early Saturday morning and had the place all to myself. The guy at the register was so friendly and really patient with my excitement. They have beautiful pastries and cakes, mini mousses, key lime pies, crème brûlée, cookies, and lots more! They don’t just look good-they are actually amazing! The cinnamon roll after a few minutes in the oven is doughy and perfectly coated with the right amount of glaze. They also have super good coffee-I haven’t had such a good cup in a long time. They also have sandwiches, burgers, and other lunch items which I’ll definitely be back to try. To top it all off, I got one large & small coffee, a cinnamon roll, a cheese danish, and a croissant and it all cost $ 12.50…

A friendly European style café with a laid back and welcoming environment. I ordered a cappuccino and an Australian cake called a Lamington which is a white sponge cake dipped in ganache and rolled in coconut flakes. Delicious on all levels! The Lamington was so very good — the cake was perfect, the ganache layer tasty yet not overbearing and the coconut layer flavorful and just the right amount. Perfection. And a really good cappuccino to boot. Rodeo references abound as its Houston Rodeo time here in the Bayou City! Stop in and enjoy a slice of European living with down home Texas roots at World Catering Bakery!
