Dannys Chinese is honestly is my favorite place. i love the food and when we order delivery we normally get general tso’s chicken, white rice and once and a while we get brown rice with chicken. also we sometimes get sweet and sour chicken. The prices are average but rise to 100! Danny is mostly always there when we stay. he is very very nice to us and always wants to say hi to us. The workers always help us if we need something. All I know is that Danny’s is the best and everything there tastes only recommendation is for General tso’s not to be so well done. It is pretty hard to bite but tastes pretty good when well done. This is the place we eat on the weekends and it’s perfect for friends and family to eat. You would want to get hibachi if your going with someone. It’s tastes good and are favorite thing they do is the onion volcano!!! It’s so COOL to see. The service was nice and it was very fancy inside. This is a really good place to go if you want a decent dinner. I’m close to it so its not so long for delivery to get here. I LOVE this and also CHINESE!!! It is my #1 food forever!!!

Danny’s has been in the neighborhood for many years. The food is really good. The service & ambiance is good. And the owner Danny is always there and obvious very passionate about his restaurant. But the prices since he moved to his new location in HB is ridiculously expensive. And unfortunately that is why eating here is far and few between.

I visited this place on Saturday around lunch time it was empty. My fiancé and I were the only ones in their. I really wanted to give a 5 star and I was kinda forcing myself to like this place but I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon. The staffs are somewhat friendly. I’m giving 2 stars because we ordered the fried calamari it was just ok nothing over the top. The chicken fried rice when it came some of the stuff was frozen and not cooked all the way however, their chicken lowmein is good but the only problem is that most of my chicken was either cold or not cooked enough. Like I said I really wanted to like this place because a good friend of mines recommend this place to me but it just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Good Chinese but not a place I would recommend to anyone who’s a Chinese food lover. They have habachi there too. I ordered take out from here and the food was alright, and just alright.

I live in the neighborhood and Danny’s Szechuan is one of my favorite local places for a great meal. In my past few visits, I’ve had hibachi but they also offer a chinese menu. When you walk in their hostess will ask if you are there for chinese or hibachi and then seats you accordingly. Earlier in the year a large group of us gathered at Danny’s to celebrate my step-father-in-law’s birthday. There was about 12 of us and the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. They recommended doing one of their group hibachi dinners which was perfect for all of us. Their hibachi dinner is wonderful. Very generous serving sizes of vegetables, noodles, meat and rice. You also get an onion soup and salad with your hibachi dinner. They have several chefs who do the whole routine with the tricks(shrimp tail in the hat and pocket, onion volcano, fried rice beating heart, etc…) and each chef brings their own unique humor to the cooking process. The chef we had for my in-laws birthday had our whole group cracking up. My husband and I just went to Danny’s earlier in the week for a hibachi dinner for our anniversary and the chef(whom I didn’t catch his name) we had was excellent. I’ve never had a bad hibachi chef at Danny’s. The few times I have gone to Danny’s for chinese, my experience was just as great as when I am there for hibachi. Generous serving sizes of great food and a friendly, attentive wait staff. My favorite dish to order is their Grand Marnier Chicken. I highly recommend. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the noise level isn’t too high. You can definitely have a nice relaxing meal or even go on a romantic date here. Overall Danny’s is a great restaurant. It’s been a favorite of mine and my family for years and we will continue to frequent.

I work on Crossbay and get food from here a few times a month. The food is really good and a pretty good value for the portion size, especially the lunch special. I like their shrimp lo mein(get it extra spicy) and chicken in garlic sauce. One downside, I’ve eaten in the restaurant a few times as well but the portions on the lunch specials seem to be smaller than when you order take out… also — get the homemade spicy mustard!

I came here last night around 9:30. We meet Danny!!! He’s a very nice man and gave is some recommendations to try when we return. It’s a nice setup with very nice staff. We had the beef fried rice, wanton soup and something with pork and shrimp. He said the soup was great, and the pork shrimp with okay, not great. I think that the beef fried rice was tasty BUT needs more spice and flavor. They need a bigger selection on non-alcoholic beverages sine the only choice was water or ice tea. If we’re ever craving Chinese and are close by … We might return.

I am a regular at this new location and their previous as well. Our favorite cook is Kevin, he puts extra garlic and sauce in our food. Hibachi is always divine!

When looking for a Chinese restaurant to dine I, this is the place Samantha and I always choose. They offer Hibachi also. Hibachi is so good, everytime I go there and bring left overs home I find myself eating them either in the middle of the night or For breakfast. But that’s a different story. Decently priced, and great food. Highly recommend this place. The owner Danny is a very nice guy. Service is nice. Can’t wait to go back there again.

Went in there today for lunch with my son it smelled terrible like dirty mop water. Portions were minuscule. Server wouldn’t give my son a tea cup because it’s glass so I gave him mine. News flash I am fully capable of controlling my child. Way over priced, got a stupid tude’ from the waitress cause she had to fill my water cup 10 times but she just kept pouring more ice in it. Finally I went to the bathroom and dumped out my ice cause telling her no ice was like trying to pull teeth. I don’t usually complain about restaurants and being a former waitress myself I have lots of patience but when a restaurant is empty and I’m getting cold food and piss poor service I have to say something. My soup was so cold the thin layer of oil had solidified on top you would think going in at 12:30 would ensure some fresh food But it tastes like yesterday’s junk. I heard such good things about the grand marnier chicken and I’m not quite sure why. It was like thick solid orange flavored honey poured on burnt chicken. BLAH

From the start this place was a disaster. They put pork inside of the vegetable rolls. I ordered the chong quin chicken and it smelled like someone just brought it out of the microwave. Disgusting! ! The waitress began yelling at us because I said the chicken smelled rotten. First and last time coming here

This review is solely based on the table service and take out. I haven’t gone here for hibachi. The food is always great and the service is always on point. They never let my water glass go beyond half full before they fill it up again. I love the Singapore Mai Fun no onions extra spicy. My babe normally gets the general tso chicken or a combo that combines meat and veggies.

Bleh! Hibachi has lost most of its magic because of the sheer repetitiveness of their routine(look a heart, oh and a volcano…). However, this place in particular really dropped the ball in all aspects. The soup was too salty, the salad had wilted greens, and the shumai was WORSE than the microwaveable shumai you can pick up in a super market. The actual entrees were okay, but not good enough to make up for the dreadful appetizers. Our chef/entertainer was okay, and at par with other hibachi shows. However the waitress who took our order and got our drinks forgot about my Shumai. After the chicken and steak was already on my plate, I called her over and asked about my order of shumai – apparently she forgot to put it in. Swell… By the time I was about half way done with my meal the shumai came out. To say it was bad is an understatement, it was absolute trash… If you’re looking for a hibachi place, find another spot!
