Today Im in the library because I desperately need computer time. As usual there is a waiting list for the computers. Once you get to the top fo the list, you only get 30 minutes of time on a computer. The computers are so slow they freeze. The internet access is slow, and the computers arent taken care of. Caches never emptied. Software not updated. Etc. The only good thing is you can print 11 pages for free per day off the computer. (Don’t even bother with the xerox copier — 25 cents per page and your copy will come out gray and warped.)
You can use their wireless if you have your own device. Its flaky. Download speed is .47 Mbps at best. Notice that decimal point. That number is POINT forty seven. You can’t even buy internet access that slow anymore. Good luck getting that .pdf to load — IF it loads.
Most personnel here are fine. But one of the main librarians is HORRIBLE. Lazy. Not helpful. She would rather tell you ‘no’ or ‘I don’t know’ than actually make the effort help anyone. I can’t understand how she manages to keep her job.

It’s a good location. The people are friendly, however, if you have studying, homework or want quiet time… good luck with that. It’s rare to get that here.

Five stars because of the wonderful people who work here. They were so helpful in setting up an account for my grandparents so they would receive books in the mail.
