Surfside 3 Motel

Giving one star for the incredibly nice driver who picked me up. This place is for hookers and pimps, do not come here as a single woman. Not safe, hookers, johns and pimps everywhere. Stinks of smoke, dirty, old and RUDE staff. Someone attempted to enter my room at 2am. Not cool.

Short stay rates, smell of pot in the air, paper thin walls, dirty linens…
Pass this place up if you can…
We rented 2 rooms here after a wedding down the block, we only stayed for 6 hours because it was that bad.
Trying to get a refund now!

Sooooo here we go! We Check in on a Monday afternoon, wife and I are pooped and want to relax, we upgrade to a jacuzzi room, on the bright side the jacuzzi was huge and the bed and was big, upon further investigation we find hair in the jacuzzi and the king side bed was dirt cheap made all sorts of squeaks, creaks, and felt like it would break at a moments notice. We thought oh well it’s just for a couple days, later that night the upstairs neighbors sounded like there was a party going on so we had to sleep with the fan on and the AC unit blaring all night! It gets more interesting… After a couple days of that we move into a regular room upstairs, the room was clean, roomy, no closets for hanging clothes, but had a nice sturdy king size bed, YES!!!
On the first night, we get a rude awakening at 1:30 in the morning, someone decides to run a vacuum cleaner! REALLY!!!. I complain to the front desk and it stops! The next four days were mirrored, HERE WE GO, every night after around 1 am our neighbor opens and closes the door at least 20 times through the night into the morning, and our other neighbors side, yells and screams from a female that sounded like King Kong and Godzilla were having their way with her! After several complaints to the front desk about the squeaky door and noise complaints nothing was ever resolved! Wife and I came to the conclusion that the hotel serves as a Brothel, when one door opened the other closed, same chick probably used one room to sleep and one to «conduct business», busy chick ! Needless to say we had a horrible experience!

Hummmm … Interesting motel. On the positive side, it’s next to the water.
The wedding party I was part if blocked a bunch if rooms at this motel as it was close to the event. I wouldn’t stay here again, especially for the price. It was clean, but felt dirty. I didn’t ask, but wouldn’t be surprised if they rent by the hour. Bring your own soap and shampoo. And bottled water. It is very simple and remodeled on the cheap. No closets to hang clothes and no shelves to out toiletries in the bathroom.

Been coming here for sometime now when i need a place to crash or hangout for the night.
Rooms are always clean
I check for bed bugs soon as i walk in to any room
none so far :)
This motel is in a great location near all food drinks etc
Ive stayed in all the others in the area and this seems to be the most acceptable
Parking is ok not great but i manage
Try it not sure why all the bad reviews

It is 4:30 am. I writing this review because there is no other way to fall a sleep. Walls are paper thin! I’ve been listening to the room next doors music that has been bumping since midnight. The beds are terrible, they seem clean but are probably not. They are defiantly uncomfortable! And the blankets have holes. This may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. After tonight is finally over I’m checking out and finding a better one. I guess that is what I get for trying to save a few dollars. Best western why did we ever leave you?

We needed a convenient place to stop during a bicycle tour, this place was near restaurants. It would have been nice to have bicycle racks but the place was quiet and a good place to rest.
