As close to Brooklyn pastries you can get! Everything here is amazing! This hidden gem does it right, and I recommend to anyone I know in the area who’s looking for a good Italian bakery!

I’ve been on the search for a delicious, moist and citrusy ricotta cheesecake since Stella D’Oro closed its restaurant in the Bronx years ago. I was anxious to come to this bakery because of the reviews on their bread. Not only did I walk out without the bread but I finally found the replacement for that long sought cheesecake. It was absolutely mouthwatering! I, also, bought some other pastries which were just as good. I’ve ordered my granddaughter’s birthday cake from here so I’ll be sure to come back and comment on it but in the meantime I’m heading back there now to pick up some of their crunchy and crusty Italian bread and some more ricotta cheesecake.

Bland pastries today, crumb cake not good either. And they forgot to give me the biscotti I purchased and never gave me a receipt. I’m out $ 14.75 I’ll forget about using this place for upcoming events.

This place is exactly what we needed in this neighborhood! Everything I’ve gotten has consistently been high quality from the bakery to the deli, even if I’m just grabbing a loaf of bread. It’s all great and they are always very pleasant! Please keep up the good work and I’ll see you again soon!

You have to try this place. Artie and Marie are great people. Not only great baked goods and breads, but they are a deli too. We are regulars and never disappointed. A nice touch to the Howell/​Brick area were there is not many Italian bakeries.
