The course is a little way past Howell, but was worth the drive. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in nice shape. The greens were particularly nice. And both sand traps I went into were in great shape with soft sand.
The layout was challenging but fair. The pace of play was good, and they actually had a ranger out on the course (becoming a rarity these days).
Just be sure to bring big spray. Out in the county with woods and ponds, you get bugs!
