the food was OK, but nothing to brag about. the waitress was really good and made sure we were well taken care of. the cleanliness of the place was so/so with the exception of the floor. the restaurant has textured tile flooring which allows dirt and grime to built up and it severely had. If I could rate lower I would. Walked in to a dead restaurant, maybe three couples. Waited for service, waited and waited. Finally our server came while yelling to another she would grab her table but it wasn’t her job. We quickly ordered as it seemed our waitress had a serious problem and received our food wrong. Surprising?!? Yes! My salad was horrible compared to the Fenton toms coney and the service was even worse. We won’t be eating here again and I hope the waitress took her less than 15% tip as an indication of how horrible her service was. Don’t eat here!

I pulled over for the hot dogs, and was disappointed to find only three options: plain, traditional coney, or traditional coney w cheese. In a world of countless creative hot dogs with tons of options, this was really sad! Even Sonic Drive In’s have more variety. The coneys themselves were average. Nothing special, but certainly not bad.

Fast and homey. Handy to the Baymont. Hard to tell if they are open, if you are early risers like we are. That was a small thing. Owners could do some upgrading. Starting to look tired, and that makes me worry about hygiene.

We eat here whenever we shop at Tanger Outlets – I guess we have to, as the outlet has closed ALL their restaurants! Leo’s is fine. It’s clean enough, quick enough and hot enough. It’s always uncomfortably crowded and just a bit shabby.

Meet my grandma and dad here often to catch up and enjoy good food for a good price. Love the chicken Greek salad with spinach and the house dressing!

Service was horrible. Server was Hailee. All staff seemed to just stand around. We had to ask for coffee refill.

Today I placed a carryout order. The first time I called, I was immediately placed on hold. Several minutes later, she came back to the phone. I placed the order, and right after I did, the phone disconnected. I called back and was immediately placed on hold again for several minutes. I hung up and called back and told her«This is the 3rd time I’ve tried to place an order!» She said«uh yeah, i accidentally lost you the first time… but I’ve got to finish something up really quick. Hold on a minute» When I went in, the line for the register was all messed up, so she took two people who came up to the register AFTER me. I was on my lunch break and had placed two separate orders for my coworker and myself. The girl said incredulously, «I see you have TWO orders?! Did you want me to combine them???»(which is quite ignorant, but no biggie) I then got back to work and found they left out the pita bread that I should have received with my Michigan salad. I was not amused. My coworker said her cheese fries were DRY, and there was a mere SLIVER of cheese. She admits, however, that her potato skins were«okay» These broads need to it together, because i’m on the verge of taking my business to AllStar Coney. They also are always standing around, gossiping, and not doing much else. Their primary objective is to «look cute at work»

For an outlet mall at the exit, there really should be more choices. We had been to Leo’s in the past and knew what to expect. Except the kids cheeseburger was over done, the chicken nuggets didn’t look fresh and the cheese sauce for the fries was not up to par. The Philly steak sandwich, onion rings and chicken pita were all really good. This restaurant has been like 5 different things and I’m glad it’s now a Leo’s. But they need to do an upgrade because the old décor is too obvious.

It gets the job done… Just go with it. The Chicken noodle soup was luke warm. I bet of I asked, they would have warmed it up. Staff is friendly enough. Cheesesteak tasted good. It’s not fancy, but just enough. Feels like the waitress are the local high school kids. I shouldn’t have to ask for Tabasco, they should ask me if I needed it… They also ask you if you’ll be putting a tip on your credit card. Um, isn’t that a little presumptuous? It is what it is…

Called here a few years back looking to make an order with my wife’s favorite Honeydew Café. Keep thinking I dialed wrong number. Thing is they just said ok and hung up. If you keep the same number you would think it was for the business opportunity, why not pitch it then? Fast and good service. Just keep getting overcooked eggs. Not as clean. You can get locked in restroom hall(hope they fixed lock direction).

I have only been twice and have gotten two different waitresses. Both were very dry and had borderline bad attitudes. Food however was decent. I just don’t like feeling like I’m bothering someone about doing their actual job. I’m not a high maintenance customer either… I just expect some level of politeness. My money spends the same in any other restaurant. I have however seen an older waitress work with other customers and she seems nice.

Food was served quickly. Coney Island dog was okay; not spectacular. Food was just adequate. Menu had too many types of food: Greek, Coney, American. Would recommend removing some items from the menu and concentrating better on the remaining items. Service was mediocre. Asked for«no mayo» but apparently server mis-heard and we got«light mayo» instead. Left cash tip at table but server acted offended because we didn’t put a tip on the credit slip.

Restaurant is typically dirty, always seems to have a lot of flies. Food is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s average coney island fare, but sometimes it’s gross(bad lettuce, burnt fried food). Waitstaff is average for a coney island restaurant.

Walked out of leos after a meal and had a bad taste in my mouth. Flies roamed around the resturant and the food was subpar at best. The busboy(or man I guess) hover around the resturant waiting for you to finish a plate or glass. I usually enjoy the leo coney island chain, but this one needs work!

I spent many years growing up in the Detroit area before moving to Chicago — I miss every day the Coney dogs I grew up with and Leo’s is the place I stop in whenever I come to town. While there are diehard fans out there of American and Lafayette(I am not EVEN going to get into that debate, despite the fact that I have a favorite) I usually will choose Leo’s because of the convenience factor. I find it hard to compel me to go all the way downtown, when a reasonable version is just minutes away from where I am visiting. Now – if I happen to be going to a Wings, Lions or Tigers game, that’s an entirely different situation.

From the outside, it looks like a fast food joint, but it is table service. Nice food, great service, a typical diner, and I mean that in a nice way

Part of a larger chain of coney islands across SE Mich. Located across the street from the Tanger Outlet Stores in Howell. x133 on I-96. This location is way smaller than it looks from the outside. The food was good, the atmosphere was decent, the crowd was nice(it was über busy on a saturday afternoon when we were there), the service was fair, the prices were typical for this type of establishment. All in all an average experience. 3 stars.
