Every time I walk in I honestly wonder why I ever did. This place is small and the selection is slim accordingly. As a bass player I feel as though I don’t exist in Hubbard Music’s eyes since they have a maybe 1⁄10 of the selection for Bass as Guitar. Another weird thing is the way instruments are(or perhaps are not) setup is as if the soul has been sucked out of them. Can’t explain it, but I hear it. Regardless the prices are not that competitive even if I did want one of their instruments. The only thing I’ve ever really done here is get a setup which was sent out, took a week, and wasn’t even done properly.

I’m a DJ in California. My cousin lives in Ohio. I was honored when she asked me to DJ her wedding… but then came the question of how to get gear… good gear, that I’m familiar with, that is reliable… for the event. Since shipping my gear to Ohio was impractical because of cost, I reached out to a few DJs in Ohio for suggestions. One of them suggested Hubbard music, which provides rental gear and backline equipment for bands. So I called them up and found out they had all the gear I wanted. The emailed me a quote and the price was perfect. I gave them my credit card number and we were all set. Then the moment of truth — would they come through and deliver the gear on time? When I arrived to the reception hall to setup the gear, it was already delivered… in the right room and everything. The gear worked flawlessly and sounded amazing. And after the event was over, they picked up on time too. I highly recommend Hubbard Music.
