We were in the neighborhood and dropped by again, again great service, killer sausage, bacon and t-bone streak. Yes it’s a little pricey side but who cares the quality is amazing.

We love this place, they do an excellent job. We are thinking about buying some organic beef and having them do it… might have them do some jerky out of it too, love their jerky! The reason I gave them 4 stars is, a lot of the time I will stop by and they will not have much of a selection to purchase.

Absolutely the best smoked ham we’ve ever had. Thank you for donating the gift certificate. We’ve been buying their pepperoni for years. Had a chance recently to bid on a traeger and it came with a gift certificate for one of their hams. It’s our new favorite.

I had Voget Meats for the first time ever this holiday season and I was very impressed! We got a whole ham and it was so perfectly cured and smoked, I will definitely go back for more!

For over forty years, I’ve been partaking of various Voget Meats products. When I was a young child, my dad would stop in regularly to buy smoked sausage, and we would always come away with summer sausage or chipped beef to snack on, and it was always a wonderful treat. Forty years later, Voget’s smoked German sausage is my favorite — whether it’s the full size option or the little smokies, the flavors are excellent. We often take the little smokies along as an easy camping breakfast, and the full size sausages are great served on rye buns with sauerkraut and spicy mustard. The smoked bacon and pork chops are also excellent. Hopefully my son will still be going to Voget’s thirty years from now, and reminiscing about going there as a child…

I love Voget’s. They have some of the best tasting pepperoni sticks, bacon, and other cured/smoked meats. You can also bring in your hogs and other animals for custom processing/butchering. The staff is always friendly and they have a decent selection of tasty animal parts to eat.

We ordered a ham for Christmas and it was fantastic. No leftovers though which made the latecomers really sad. Turned it into some great soup the next day. Ordering another ham for Super Bowl Sunday! And it looks like I should order some bacon too.

I have used Vogets several times. The final product is ok to good but not worth the compromise and errors. I have taken waterfowl in for sausage and pepperoni and been given back beef. I have taken entire boned out animals and then charged a boning fee. I have paid to have my animal(already boned and trimmed) processed by itself and then gotten back product containing bone and cartilage. So, they did not honor my request and mixed it with other animals not processed as cleanly. I have even found lead fragments in the meat and I only use copper bullets. Makes me wonder if the meat is handled in a clean and safe manner.

Can you say BACON? Got around to getting some and glad I did. Not the usual salt-packed stuff you buy in the store. Thick sliced and very flavorful. Also, got some of their Summer Sausage– Wow! Give both a try and you will be glad you did. Service here has ALWAYS been first-class!

Stopped in today to pick up our Christmas ham. We also bought some hot dogs. Had the dogs for dinner tonight and they were great. One of the best hot dogs I have ever eaten. Now we are looking forward to our Christmas ham dinner.

Went to Voget’s to have a fair hog butchered last year. Did a nice job, all as requested(though I learned there is a lot to the art of specifying how your hog is cut). The cased sausages — the smoked from our hog and the octoberfest bough separately were spectacular — salty, very well packed, decently spiced, light smoke flavor. The seasoned sausage(loose in tube) was a bit salty and bland for my tastes… German-style. Bacon is very salty with barely a hint of smoke.

Great meats!!! The only thing I don’t care for is the spiral cut smoked turkey. In sure anyone that likes turkey would love it, I just don’t. Great service, a hidden gem!
