My husband and I both absolutely love the Copper Dock. The food is amazing(best salmon I’ve ever had) and the atmosphere is as well. In the summer you can eat outside, and both the inside and outside have an amazing view of the lake. We have tried so many different dishes, and have never been disappointed. The Sunday brunch is also fabulous. We hold our annual Christmas party here for our business, and our employees just love it. When friends or family are in town, we bring them here and they consistently say they want to come back. The staff is very friendly, and the owners are genuinely kind and so appreciative for the business.

We double date here every few months. Two of our group always gets the fish fry, and say it’s great. I switch it up — have had the cobb salad — it’s good(hard to screw up a salad), but overpriced for what it is. Better to stick with the salad bar and build your own. The food is always good, scenery is great. Last time we were in, we did feel a little rushed. I wasn’t done eating, but they tried to take my plate away from me 3 times while I was mid bite.

The best steak I ever had. Great service. Great ambience. Super nice owners. The beef carpaccio is literally the greatest thing on earth. I crave it. I absolutely LOVE this place!

I’m fully on board with the new vogue of supper clubs. I found the Copper Dock while perusing a Wisconsin Supper Club website. My boyfriend and I made a Sunday night reservation for our anniversary this fall. I mentioned over the phone the dinner was a special occasion and when we showed up for our meal they had saved us a table in the corner directly in front of the windows overlooking the lake. We were able to watch the sun set during our appetizer. To answer a classic supper club question, no they did not offer a relish tray. Instead, they had appetizers to order and the entrees came with access to the salad bar. The salad bar included a lot of things reminiscent of a relish tray such as pickles, veggies, and several varieties of pasta salad. My suggestion for the modern relish tray dilemma: put it as an option on the apps menu. That way, people looking for the old standby have the option of paying for it and you avoid the food waste for those who don’t want it. We couldn’t resist the queso dip on the list of appetizers but I probably wouldn’t order it again. For dinner I ordered the scallops and my boyfriend ordered the New York strip(supper club classic: big chunk o’ meat). The mashed garlic potatoes were excellent and the veggie side was decent. Although I would reserve eating dinner at the Copper Dock for a special occasion($ 26 entrees), if I’m in the area next summer I want to stop back for a cocktail on their deck. The setting is hard to beat! Another option I’ll consider checking out at the Copper Dock is the Friday night fish fry. How can you beat a fish fry on a lake?

Fish fry was a rip off. Way too pricey for what you get. It was sunny when we arrived and we asked for patio seating. By the time we were seated it was dark and getting cold. Food arrived about an hour after we ordered and it was cold. There was very little lighting provided and no heaters. So we ate our cold food outside in the cold. Had to use my flashlight on my phone to even see the bill. Will not be returning to do that again. On the positive side, I love this place for steak dinners.

We went to the Copper Dock on Friday. It was busy as most places in Wisconsin are for fish. There was a 45 minute wait when we checked in. We waited about 1\2 hour, which was not all that bad. The waitress was friendly and so was the rest of the staff. We sat out side on the patio. The waitress came and took our drink order, which was only a decaf coffee. She returned about 10 minutes and said they were brewing the decaf coffee. Finely coffee comes she takes our order. We waited another 25 minutes for food. The waitress did check back. We order a wine and she for got. Then waited for 10 minutes to get check. This was a bad experience, not likely to return soon.

I can’t understand these 5 star reviews, not even a little. My only guess is lack of actual impressive food experiences. Copper Dock was okay at best. The environment is nice enough. Lots of space, nice view of the lack, pretty classy but not obnoxiously so. My fiancée and I had a couple drinks from the bar and they were made very well. It only took us about 30 minutes of waiting for a table outside at 6pm on a Wednesday night, not too bad at all. The service was good, not amazing, but good. Waters could have been refilled a little more often and the food was a little slow making it to the table. Again, not a huge issue because we were not in a rush. We both had the all you can eat crab, which was just fine. Crab is hard to mess up. My problem with this place, is every side dish we tried was terrible. The risotto was too mushy and left a very strange mushroom heavy after taste. The salad dressings were way too sweet. The Tomato soup tasted like a hot Bloody Mary with way to much pepper. I was very very underwhelmed by this place. I saw another table order the ribs, and they looked amazing. I fully intend on going back and trying a few other dishes and giving this place a fair chance. However, as of right now, I’m not a fan of this restaurant.

Absolutely beautiful place and delicious food. Well worth the drive from Milwaukee! Can’t wait to go back in fall to appreciate the view more. The Sunday brunch buffet was delicious and had a lot of variety. There were these delicious light as air rolls coated in a glaze that were to die for delicious. The french toast was moist and sweet enough that it didn’t need any syrup. I loved that they had the warm bacon dressing, it was soo good! Service was average, wish they would have been more on the spot with coffee and taking away the dirty plates. Other than that, it was a great experience and I would absolutely go again!

We used to come here years ago with some now deceased family members, and decided that since we were in the neighborhood, we would stop by on Wed. nite, 9÷9÷15 at just about 5:00PM, without reservations. We were glad we told the boss at the door(Leffler) that we were staying to eat, ‘cuz he said they were pretty much booked up just a bit later on. We sat at the bar with«Pat» and had a couple of drinks and excellent conversation. We got seated inside(our request… didn’t wanna sit out on the deck) and had a great view of the lake(see my picture). We ordered the tempura fried asparagus to start us off and to help finish our cocktails. Those couldn’t have been more unique… nor better. I recommend them if you like asparagus.(For those, like me, low carbing… if you want to avoid the batter, its very easy to peal off the tempura). Cheryl ordered the chicken cordon bleu. I ordered the prime rib. After eating our starter salads, our young server came to the table and plunked down our main course. Huh? Wait…” I didn’t order a filet. I ordered the prime rib.“ She immediately took my plate away without saying anything. I was positive she was coming RIGHT back with the prime rib. Right? Uh-uh. She came back with a menu and said, «Sorry. We don’t serve prime rib tonight. I thought you meant you wanted a filet. I’m really sorry.» Oh well. Cheryl enjoyed her chicken which was excellent. I decided to I didn’t want to take the time to re-order and we left thereafter promptly, taking most of Cheryl’s dinner home in a doggy box. I will take some responsibility for this, in that I really didn’t look at the menu. I remember the prime rib here and just ordered it, being reinforced by my apparently mistaken belief that I saw a slice of prime rib on another patron’s plate prior to ordering. For the owners at Copper Dock, we still love your restaurant, the food and the folks there. But please, don’t forget that your newer/younger servers DO need supervision and on-going training, especially when it comes to taking correct orders from customers.

We were looking for someplace different for brunch and decided to take a short drive from Milwaukee to Copper Dock. Their brunch is pretty good and nice selection of breakfast and lunch items. They also have a waffle and omelet station. Make sure you save room for dessert. The best apple pie I have ever had!!! The crust was flaky and the apples still had some firmness to them. Great service, my coffee never went empty. Everyone working there was so chipper and friendly. Nice view of the lake as well.

My husband and I came here, while visiting from California. I found the restaurant online and through Unilocal. We would have never found it otherwise, as it’s off the beaten path. We had the Friday night fish & chips. I have to say, it was about the best I’ve ever had! We ate outside and it was lovely. So why 3 stars and not 5? Service was quite slow and… We each had iced tea. Our waiter didn’t come by to refill our glasses, so we asked. To say we were SHOCKED, when our check came, is an understatement! We were charged $ 12.00 for ‘4’ iced teas!!! OUTRAGEOUS! :( We ALWAYS order iced tea and we’ve NEVER been charged for refills! Copper Dock, in the future, either refill iced tea(like every other restaurant automatically does), or inform your customers that you don’t!

Sunday brunch is very good with a plentiful selection of different foods to choose from. The Wednesday evening all you can eat crab legs is the best! The quality of the seafood is A1. The waitstaff is very attentive to their customers.

Great place!!! And if you are looking for good food and great view this is a «must visit» place. You feel like you are in the heart of Wisconsin’s most beautiful country side. I love the eggs Benedict they make. One of the best.

Came here for dinner with my girlfriend. Got the all you can eat Prime Rib special. Man was it amazing. Came with fries, soup and we got bread as well. Had a great table overlooking the lake. Only went here because our original choice had too long of a wait but great blessing in disguise. Will definitely be back.

Charming atmosphere and great food! We had reservations on a Saturday night. They were ready to seat us right away but also gave the option to us if we wanted to have a drink at the bar — which is of course where we led. For dinner we enjoyed the chicken queso dip accompanied by fried pita chips. Our entrees included steak, salad a burger and a sandwich. Our waitress was prompt and polite. It’s a great place tucked away in Hubertus!

5STARSFORBRUNCH! best brunch around. I’ve had them all. The eggs benedict is seriously to die for. The rest of the food usually includes freshly fried home made donuts, an EPIC salad /fruit bar, a meat carving station with ham and prime rib, a Belgian waffle opp n with several toppings, an omelette station made to order, fish, seafood,(which im not a fan of so ive never tried it) and all the traditional brunch items I.e. french toast bacon, eggs, bread pudding and MANY other things. Also a ridiculous dessert table. Yes. An entire table just for desserts. So many pies. They also are right on fries lake and its so beautiful. I mean REALLY pretty. Outdoor seating is available in summer too. Been there over a dozen times and NEVER had a complaint. Love it. Can’t wait to be back.

You cannot go wrong at this place. I have dinned here couple of times all of which had been great. I love it here during summer months as you can sit at the patio and enjoy a drink with friends or family with a great lake view. The restaurant is nestled by friess lake The last visit we tried seafood casserole and the rack of lamb. Which was quite good. The waitress did fail to let us know it was all you can eat crab day! What a bummer
