I want to join a gym. I went there and they have a minimum one-year agreement. I do not want to pay six or $ 700 to find out if I’d like working out again. I would think if they had a one-month trial and at a reasonable cost I would have tried it out.

This is actually my second membership with this gym. My first year’s contract expired and I chose to opt out of renewing, mostly for financial issues and lack of attendance. The fact that this gym really is 24 hours is the main reason I returned with a friend. As far as the gym itself, very friendly manager present Tuesday through Saturday during staffed hours, excellent security, easy-to-use, clean equipment, ergonomical set-up, and opportunities for specials. They even have on-site tanning beds and satellite classes(spinning, kickboxing, etc.) for their members. Price range moderate considering the 24 hour availability aspect. Would and have recommended to a friend. Please note that they do require a signed contract and preauthorized payment via bank account, signed consent forms if you are under age(17 or 18, I cannot remember which), and I believe breaking their yearly contract can only be done for enlistment or moving(I believe they need an address that is 20 miles or more from the gym’s location). Financial hardship is not a viable reason for breaking their contract, so be aware of the commitment you are making.
