This location is horrible. I love the chain and have found most locations to be great. The Hudson location is just really poorly run. We’ve gone twice and both times received bad service. The first time we sat there for 15 minutes and finally walked out after two different tables were waited on and they came after us — and it was the same server. It’s one thing if a server goes on break, but he was there the entire time taking orders from other customers and ignoring us. It wasn’t that busy either. The second time, we were given a dirty table and the service again was slooooow. When you go to a restaurant with 3 kids, you need to eat quick. They seem to only care about the few regulars and don’t care about anyone else. Avoid this location!

Ive been here before and I had a great experience. I came here again and the service was horrible. Marilyn was my server and she pressured me in to buying a gift basket from the raffle. I then wanted to take it off my bill and she refused to do that. and said its already been done. so I had someone else do it for me. She was more then happy to do it. I Asked for a drink and she never came back with it. I had to ask more then once. When I asked for napkins she gave me 2 napkins. The food was great but the service was horrible!

We love to get takeout from here. We have actually never gone in for a sit down meal. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and quality you get. Curbside to go is awesome! You just pull-up and they bring your food out — it’s basically like going thru a fast-food chain line but getting a better quality of food! Their steak tips are very flavorful and always cooked perfectly. The fish and chips is surprisingly crave worthy. The fish has great flavor and there isn’t too much batter. The batter is also light and a little crunchy and not greasy at all. The burgers are huge and the juice will run down your arm when you bite into them. I have also ordered the nachos to go — I was a little worried how they would be by the time I got them home — they were packed awesome. They melted the cheese on the chips but then provided all of the toppings in seperate little containers so that you could assemble it at home and not end up with soggy chips.

The 99 is not a gourmet restaurant, and doesn’t pretend to be. There are some very good things on the menu for reasonable prices. I had the lobster roll for lunch today, and it was fabulous!

The meal I had here was for the most part pretty decent. The nachos left a lot to be desired but the quality entrées and deserts more than made up for it. The service was good as well despite being extremely busy. I would go here again for sure. I don’t think I would get the nachos again though.

Nice food, nice service. Our experience was probably as good as any 99 dining one can be. Our waitress, Tori, was attentive and friendly, and our food came hot. The atmosphere was the same as every other branch. Good salads and the lobster Mac and cheese had a ton of lobster in it and was quite good.

99 is one of those places where you can get typical restaurant«fast food», therefore I tried to find something healthier on the menu and I did. I had the grilled salmon with vegetables which tasted ok-nothing I would come back for though. The waiter’s were nice and helpful, and the atmosphere was homey.

The 99 is typically one of the chains that I can actually tolerate… except this one… After walking through the door the first thing I notice is an awful smell. Almost like walking into a basement. Maybe it’s because the bathrooms are close to the entrance? Maybe something leaked at some point? I don’t know. Then there always seems to be chaos at the host stand. They’re taking people to tables in two different directions and there is always someone standing in the middle waiting for takeout. Poor layout. After surviving the smell and the chaos, you get to your table and order a 25oz beer… and it comes back warm and flat. So you send it back and the waitress brings a new one that is not as warm but still flat. Clearly a lost cause. The couple times I have eaten here, the food comes out and looks unappealing. I know it’s all frozen, deep fried whatever… but I just don’t understand how they can screw it up. Could only manage a few bites of my burger, the potato skins come out all shriveled up and stuck together and the pasta dishes are all mush. This place could use an overhaul… some new carpet, new paint and some plumbing work in the bathroom. And maybe a training refresher for the kitchen help… Next time i’m just going to head to the Burger King down the street.

So I’ve been sitting at this table for at least 15 minutes the waitress has walked by at least three times not even recognizing I’m sitting here. I call her attention asking her if she can send my waitress over. Then she says oh no one told me you were here. Seriously, you just walked by me three times and I’ve been sitting here for 15 min. I understand their busy but seriously. And to make me not feel important by telling me no one told me you were here, why would say that to a customer. The host who sat me was more helpful. I’ll be speaking to a manager. She just brought my food over I got the wings and skins sampler. 2 pieces of celery. The wings arnt horrible but nothing amazing. When she brought over my food she goes oh you don’t have silver ware.

The atmosphere was about the only thing worth writing about here. I was warned going in by my dad that this 99 was awful and he sure knew best. I ordered the steak tips and chicken fingers. The steak tips were undercooked and had no seasoning on them and just tasted poor in general. The chicken fingers tasted like some processed chicken that not even a McDonald’s would serve. I was utterly disappointed. Right as I finished the meal my stomach felt like it was in knots Nd seconds later I was in the bathroom while my girlfriend signed my bill and waited for me in the car. This 99 should be embarrassed to be a part of my favorite restaurant chain.

The food was alright here. The seating in the other side of the restaurant(away from the bar) was actually very hot. I ended getting the balsamic chicken meal with rice and corn, and it was alright. The rice could’ve been made softer in my opinion as it seemed a little undercooked.

Not all Ninety Nines are created equally. The 99 in Hudson has just about the best bar tending staff my Wife and I have ever experienced! The food is good, especially the Nachos! And, very reasonably priced. If you haven’t stopped by, check it out!

Charging 3% more(or whatever it is) for take out orders is ridiculous. It’s called the C.O.D.B… By taking the food OUT of your restaurant, I am not: using your elecetricity, creating dirty dishes for an employee to wash, using your hot water/chemicals for washing any glassware/dishes, paying an employee to put them away, etc. roll these costs into the pricing of the menu items like a normal place does. It’s like your punishing people who order take out, when in fact us doing so just gives you more opportunity to make MORE money by serving MORE peeps who dine in! AND… when I do order two entrees to go, and PAY for the plastiware(just a fork and knife, nothing major…) PLEASEINCLUSETHEMINTHEORDER. Now you’re just stealing my hard earned cash! No fun getting back the office and trying to eat a sirloin steak with mashed/brocc and a grilled salmon entrée without utensils. It’s not like we ordered potato skins, or something else we could eat with our hands. Rant Over.

The 99 has totally redeemed it self from being the prime suspect in causing the 4 worst hours of food poisoning I ever had 3 years ago. I came in for lunch after the late summer hurricane, to plug in my phone, get something hot to eat, and take a sink shower. The hostess was really cool about our request to sit us in a booth near a outlet so we could charge our phones. For the hour that we hung out caught up on the news, and charged our phones, and got a great hot lunch, it was just what we needed. Their was a ton of lunch options, all a great value, they have really revamped the menu. I won’t hesitate to come back to grab a beer and some apps. Like the food or not the 99 consistently provides quality place to relax.

We generally come away from this restaurant satisfied with the food and the service. It was a delightful Saturday evening when my daughter, grandson and I ate dinner. We all chose medium rare steak. Two of us were quite satisfied with our steak. My daughter had thicker steak and more on the rare side. It was brought back to the kitchen to cook some more. My grandson and I were treated to a lovely repast. It is great when you can take a bite or two of something and be totally satisfied with the taste. My soup was a crab soup which the three of us shared. I think my grandson took the most spoonfuls. If you like the $ 9.99 deal, I highly suggest the steak.

Food comes out fast, good selection and good bartenders. I’ve been going here for years and while at times I do wish the food came a little slower, there’s something to be said for quick response and good service overall. I don’t think I’ve really had a bad meal here, though portion sizes are too big for most meals.
