I love flea markets. To me a flea market has to be a place with a bunch of different sellers. As far as I can tell, there was only one seller at Bells Pond, so I’d call it a thrift store. But maybe when the weather is warmer they have an outdoor part or something, I don’t know. We visited in late September and it was just an indoor thing. They have large collections of a couple particular items: I recall a big area of LPs, cookie jars lining the entire perimeter(look up), a wall of spoons, and multiple boxes of post cards on a display, maybe a couple other items. Little variety of other things — and variety is what I come to a flea market or a thrift store for. The unexpected. There are some clothes, a smattering of toys, some jewelry and other knick knacks, but unless your particular interest matches with one of the obsessions of the owners, you’re out of luck. I didn’t buy anything.

To be fair and upfront: I am not a flea market fan. My husband is and it was our anniversary this past weekend. Thus, we stopped here en route to somewhere else. This was a good array of odds and ends, as with most flea markets. The prices were very«as expected» and there was nobody there except a couple older folks selling stuff… far as I could tell at least. I’m not familiar enough with this area to say there are better or worse places, but to me, this didn’t seem worth the time.
