Fantastic!!! Somewhat Old style diner look place and very clean inside. We’re from up North and good food at a fare price is very rare here in Florida. Not until today have my husband and I had a meal experience that took us back to childhood in the ‘80s. I ordered the 12′ Philly Cheesesteak regular and my husband the 12′ Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak and 2 large fries. The fries were so large it was like a whole bag. yummy right?! Not even greasy and so fresh. The Cheesesteaks were so full we needed forks just to try and eat a portion of half a sub. The meat is tender, fresh and seasoned so well. Sub roll was soft and cheese was creamy melted inside. This food taste like how people used to cook. With love, time and care for each other. Prices are great and you get so much more than your bucks worth. Bucks very well spent here and its worth the drive on US19 toward Springhill to see this Fantastic place!

Loved it. Found it as we were driving down the road. Great stop. Wife said it was better than Tony Luke’s in Philly.

Blast from the past. You can smell the goodness from the parking lot. Inside is old school diner feel. From the orange booths to the stainless steel countertops. Aka Paterson diner. Staff is super friendly and helpful. As a first timer I went for the traditional cheesesteak sandwich. Flavorful soft roll fully loaded with tasty meat and melted cheese. Lots more on the menu to try. Will be back.

My mom and I have had their Philly cheesesteaks and they have so delicious so today we decided to try the New England lobster roll. It is delicious.

The only thing we have ever ordered from this restaurant are the Cheesesteaks. They are so incredibly good that we never want anything else! It’s busy, so call before you go if you are picking up an order. Otherwise, it is still worth the wait. Much better than the two originals in Philadelphia!

This is a very cute place, and the people here are friendly. I ordered the new lobster roll and loved it. The bread was toasted perfectly, with a heaping amount of lobster. Delish. My family also really liked their burger and Philly steak. I would absolutely come back.

I had the Philly it was really good. Then I had the Lobster roll at first sight looks great. Taste was good but I think you added imitation crab had that before if you can’t do it right don’t do it. Just say Hudson Lobster Roll not New England we don’t except much from Hudson I’ll be back for the Philly

After being told numerous times about how delicious the Cheese steaks are at this location, I finally found ‘The white building down the road on the right’, as everyone describes it. I stopped and there weren’t that many people in there as my friends say it’s always crowded. Well it’s not. I asked for a menu since it was my first time in this establishment and ended up ordering the Florida minus the mushrooms with regular fries. Well… The steak they use is NOT fresh steak. It is already pre-cooked. Looks like the only thing fresh are the veggies. Everything is mixed together and then placed in what looks like a hotdog bun type roll. I expected the bun to be freshly made or toasted prior to the meat going in, but it wasn’t. If you’re wondering how do I know where the roll was you can watch them make everything right in front of you. I made the mistake of needing to use the women’s restroom and all I can say a bunch of words about that but I will be a bit NICE. It smelled like an unkept pig farm. Needless to say, I only made it to the door and turned around, grabbed my germX and just went to town on my hands. They ought to be ashamed to have had that restroom smelling like that and then and then serving food too. Put an out of order sign on the door!!! Guess what folks, I still took my food home and hurried on cause I really had to use the restroom. Anyways, the food… The cheesesteak was too salty. Guess dude that made it has a heavy hand. Couldn’t finish it! The fries don’t travel well especially since I only live two miles down the street. Would I be back, NO! Would I recommend this spot, NO! Would I help promote it, NO. Would I help tell them what they can do better, YES!!! Are the prices good for the food that you get, NO! ****For the price of the food here, In my opinion, everything is overpriced. The service is ok but the steak is not fresh steak and may be too salty at taste, it’s pre-cooked, fries don’t travel well of which end up not eaten and I was a bit grossed out by the restroom. All I can say is, YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!!!

Great and plentiful food at a reasonable price. Had a 12″ philly with cheese fries and couldn’t finish!

The buffalo cheese steak is way over baring. They need to not soak it in the sauce. My roll was drenched by the time it was delivered. It fell apart. The greek salad was good. I’m told the regular cheese steaks are really good. Wish i would have went with that instead.

Finally a real steak and cheese sub in Florida. I moved to Florida from Boston and I love it here. The only thing I miss is the food and now with this sub shop everything’s perfect. Try the teriyaki steak sub.

My rating is so high because it is food. Anyone that has had a decent cheesesteak will tell you the bread is a major factor. Here, it’s soggy white bread. When you ask for hot peppers you expect cherry peppers and not jalapeño. It’s so bad I urge anyone that goes to ask them to remove the Genos picture as I’m sure if it wasn’t a picture it would run.

I had the Cheese Philly and husband had the Florida Philly. They were really good, and packed with meat. We will be going back. Staff was nice. Inside was set up like a 50’s diner. Easy access to get to.

My 1st visit and I’m a definite fan! Food was delicious and you get a huge portion. Enough for lunch the next day! If you are in the area I recommend.

I’ve eaten here several times and have never been disappointed in the food, service, and bang for your buck. I live in Tampa but the trip up is worth it! The portions you get are second to none for the price. Keep up the good work and I’ll be back for more. Those that have had bad experiences should try it out again, you won’t be disappointed.

I agree with the bland reheated meat opinion. I had a cheese steak and a gyro from here and both were very disappointing.

I’m going to have to buck the trend and give them 5 stars. I visited there on consecutive days in December(week of Christmas) 2013, and it was outstanding both times. I’m not a fan of hitting a place multiple times but my then-girlfriend insisted after she scarfed down a full cheesesteak(it’s not like I was dainty with my sausage and pepper monstrosity). She had a cheesesteak again the second time and I had the cheesesteak with the tomato sauce. I can’t say enough about how tasty our food was both days. The staff was friendly and I thought it served its purpose as a sandwich joint very, very well.

This place is a Hit or Miss… 1st Time brought me back to the goodness of a New England Style phiily steak fries were awesome and great service. 2nd time around, everything was about the same but the steak a either a little under cooked or they changed the type of meat IDK! 3rd&4th Back for that taste of the 1st time and it was there! Been back a few more times after that & that Miss point of flavor came back.

Delicious philly cheesesteak. Lots of meat. Cheese was perfectly melted. Had to use a fork and knife because it is overflowing. Service was efficient. Best philly cheese steak around Hudson/Port Richey area!!! Casual seating and quick delivery of food to your table. No wait staff is great for a meal with conversation in between all of those cheesy delicious bites!
