Love the newly revamped Bacon Roadhouse. Sent the Ghost out there this morning, around 3am. Great taste, but only once in a blue moon; have to lose some more weight. 60lbs off so far. I will survive.

I’ve got to say that I like Checkers. I especially like their two for two dollar sandwich specials. Their sign outside makes me giggle because it looks like it says Cheekers lol. Let’s face it folks but this is not gourmet food but it is good fast food and their french fries will knock your socks off! It helps us night birds that they’re open till 4 AM.

I like Checkers. Sure, it’s greasy fast food, but these hot dog and hamburger joints have fun and funky architecture and give off a friendly vibe. Sad to see some of them closing down. When you’re in the mood for a cheeseburger and fries they offer some pretty good deals and have some tasty desserts.

Checkers is always yummy. Oh those fries… like no other. But this location had the most fun service. The gentleman at the window was a hoot, they seem to like their job and each other (or perhaps it was the tiny workspace) whatever, WHATEVER IT WORKS!

You would think Checkers is Checkers but this one really IS one of the best I’ve been to. Everything is freshly cooked and the place is kept up very well. They do a very steady business and the service is always fast and friendly.

This is the best Checkers around. They are always busy and the burgers are top notch. The burgers are always perfect. I’ve been to other checkers and sometimes the burgers are good and sometimes not good. This place is consistantly good.
Always a line of cars. That’s a good sign.
