Cozy Cabin

Ordered the biscuits and Gravy, Took one bite and it was cold. I informed the waitress who took the plate back and brought it back a few minutes later with my bite marks still there from the cold biscuit. Worse service ever! Not to mention they tasted disgusting!

Ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Portions were ok for the prize. The biscuit didn’t taste homemade. Hubby ordered omelette end it was ok. Wait staff is nice. Coffee is fresh and good. We arrived around 130pm and there was no other customer around. This place is now called the Smitty pancakes and grille. No longer the cozy cabin.

So when you think Cozy Cabin you think close knit people and that is what you will find of the regulars that attend here. I walked in with my son and daughter and grandson and instantly felt out of place. There were a lot of silver hair’s looking at us with fear in there eyes. We have just invaded there space. Keep in mind there is a nursing home right next door to this location. We ordered french toast with strawberries and I ordered something with hash browns and bacon with two eggs on it. I found the eggs, the bacon but the hash browns seemed to be very little. My daughter’s french toast was swimming in something of red juice and was eeky. Although the waitress was nice she seemed more friendlier to the regulars than us.
Let’s not even get started on the decorations because anyone who watches food network would know that Robert Irvine would have a coronary attack on this one. Yes, it was cheap but was it worth it? NOpe.

Excellent place for breakfast! A small local place where the wait staff is attentive, and your coffee cup never gets low.
I tried the skillet breakfast special (which included coffee!) and my bill was less than $ 6.43! I simply left a $ 10 bill on the table because it was so cheap, and as I stated earlier, the wait staff was extremely attentive.
All of the food is made to order, so do keep that in mind when you go, as it will take a little bit longer than you average wait time at a chain restaurant. With that being said, the time spent waiting is WELL WORTH IT!

Great place!!! Went in here wary with my 3 kids after previously going to a nearby café that gave my kids dirty looks. I had a wonderful server who instantly talked to the kids and was sweet. Pancakes were delicious with a touch of cinnamon, and the kids were happy! The owner/​manager even came out and visited tables to ensure meals were great! Will come back!

Well we both ordered over medium eggs and mine was hockey puck texture and the other was almost right out of the shell… Hash browns we asked extra crispy tasted reheated not crispy maybe a day old. Prices went up, service went down.

Great spot for homemade food. Fast service with a smile. Lots of healthy options as well as traditional foods. Greek omelette is worth the trip. Fresh tomatoes and fresh basil. …yum!

This has become our go-​to spot for breakfast! The food is great, the portions are huge and the prices can’t be beat. You’d think that’s why we keep coming back… nope! We come back again and again because of the staff. AMAZING! The owner comes out from the kitchen and greets you, the staff truly take the time to make you feel welcome and their service is outstanding, We went there for breakfast on my daughters 5^th b’day and they made her feel like a superstar. Truly a great place and I recommend to anyone looking for good food and a good atmosphere.

Friendly staff and excellent service. Fantastic breakfast or lunch spot. Would definitely recommend the Monte Cristo and the patty melt.

Quintessential «hole-​in-​the-​wall» restaurant. Great food and very friendly servers. Breakfast for 3 was $ 13 and lunch for 4 was $ 30.
