I love this store. The store is split, with the men’s department to the left and women’s and accessories to the right. This is a small store that uses the space efficiently, and maximizes their selection beautifully. The selection of price ranges makes it easy for most budgets to find something, even slightly frugal people like myself.

This is not only the best clothing store in Hudson, but one of the best places to shop for clothes and accessories in the Hudson Valley. The merchandise has been carefully selected for quality and price range, so you can buy a pair of adorable cashmere socks or a T-shirt for $ 22 or a pair of trendy jeans for $ 190. The store has very practical items such as fleece-lined boots, faux-fur vests and down parkas that look great on and are reasonably priced, considering the high quality and styling. I’ve been stopped on the street and in the grocery store by women asking me where I got my boots or my scarf, the merchandise is that unique and eye-catching. The service is outstanding, regardless of whether you buy bags of clothing or end up selecting nothing. And to top it all off, DeMarchin has wonderful sales. I stop here every single time I visit Hudson.

While I’d love to give this store more stars, it’s pretty much out of my price bracket. They’ve got quite a selection of one of a kind clothing and extremely trendy jeans(in the $ 180 range). The staff was really very helpful and laid back. I was only in window shopping and I really didn’t get the vibe that I’d better hurry up and buy. I did buy a scarf that was WAY out of my price range but was something I know that will turn an okay outfit into a classy ensemble.

I just love this store. My husband is from Hudson, but we live in CT. The first time he took me to Hudson to walk up and down Warren Street, and visit with family, he took me into DeMarchin. Two words. I’m hooked. There isn’t a ton of merchandise, but what is there is so wonderful, and unique. There is a fantastic price range of things, from inexpensive, to luxury. This winter I got a pair of cashmere gloves for what I think is an outrageously cheap price. The quality is outstanding, and I LOVE them. People ask me where I got them, and if they had any more. They’re THAT nice. They also have a great children’s section at the back. We’ve gotten our daughter a number of things there. Again, unique, fun things. From nightgowns, to shirts to great rubber bottom socks. To top it off, they have Uglydolls. Our two sons will go anywhere for Uglydolls. The last time we were in, Paul even brought out the Ugly doll flyer to show our boys which ones were coming in next. The fact that he not only remembered what they liked, but treated them as valued customers as well… simply outstanding. We’ll actually be in Hudson tomorrow, and I’m hoping to stop at DeMarchin.
