We Have been going to Dynamite Sushi for years now. The new owners Joe and Ally have done a wonderful job continuing to offer wonderful food and drinks, along with a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. They have fine tuned the menu with creative sushi specials that we always love to try! Don’t be fooled by the location… this is a hidden gem and a place we love to always go. The service is always friendly and helpful, especially if you happen to be a sushi novice. The owners have put their heart and soul into this business, and it shows! A Sushi and Japanese food must try for sure!

Ample seating, awesome sushi bar, clean, happy and friendly staff.
We came early on a Saturday and ordered some small but stout mai tai’s. To accompany them we ordered some chicken satay, which was amazing. Tuna Tataki was fresh and perfectly prepared. We also ordered coconut milk chicken soup, which was so good, I ordered an additional one to take home. Also ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and spicy noodle with beef. Everything was freshly prepared and steaming hot. Portions are large enough bring home leftovers. I will be back.

I have been going there for a few years now and tonight was my first since new management took over. Everything was excellent! Crab Rangoon is the best I’ve had. We had sushi and everything was great. Service was great too. Will definitely be back soon!

So sad. This used to be our favorite restaurant. You can’t take over a restaurant, keep the name and keep the menu items but drastically change the recipes. Sadly, it’s changed for the worse and my husband and I have had to say goodbye to our favorite meals forever.

They are under new management and have made additions to their menu, such as a full bar and a variety of hot dishes. The spicy basil for example is excellent and bursting with flavor. The hot and sour soup is still fantastic, as well as the crab rangoon. What can I say about the wait staff? They are very friendly and courteous! I will be going back soon and I’m very happy to live only a short drive away!

First time here, under new management for one month, per server. Fast service! Very pleasant, attentive waitstaff. Iwas in need of nothing! Fresh and hot food. I greatly enjoyed the Spicy Basil, with chicken, off the kitchen main dish menu. I had the white rice and hot and sour soup. I was pleasantly surprised how good the hot and sour soup was, as it’s hard to find a good version of this soup.
The spicy basil dish was an ample portion of rice, with a nice supply of very crunchy carrots, a beautiful array of colorful peppers, onions and mushrooms, and just enough perfectly cooked chicken. I was quite impressed with this meal and will return.

They are now under new management, so we wanted to give them a chance. BEYOND Disappointed they changed the food and not for the better. They kept most of the menu items but they must be using different recipes and/​or ingredients. Also disappointed in the change to the maki combo choices, one of my favorites is no longer on the menu.
The volcano roll which was my favorite, they use a different cheese that did not go well with the kimchi. I gave it a try but couldn’t even finish the roll, My husband thought it was so gross he spit it out.
The Bulgoki flavor was ok, but we believe that is what made my husband sick an hour later, because it’s the only thing he ate that I didn’t.
The crab Rangoon, use to be the best around, but they were lacking something, maybe because they served a different sauce with them.
The only reason I didn’t give them one star is because the service was great, the waitress was very attentive. But unfortunately we go out to eat for good food, and I can always overlook bad service if the food is good. This food was not good it was mediocre at best and we will not go back.

The demand for sushi here is crazy, and it’s made some of the fun places too busy to enjoy. This place does some good American style rolls and the food has usually been good. Just be warned about its popularity, and sometimes slow service.

I’ve been here twice now, and both time I was incredibly underwhelmed. The first time I thought might just be an off day, but after my second time, I’m still really unimpressed – especially when you consider the price. My sushi was falling apart, they forgot the eel sauce (both times), and the flavor was just lacking. Really disappointed.

Great food, have had take out on several occasions. Last meal I had included veggie rolls, which were fresh crisp and amazing. Miso and hot soup was great, salad was a bit tart and I didn’t liked the mustard sauce which was served with the shrimp tempura. I prefer to stick with the traditional tempura sauce. The only complaint besides the high cost was the bland Wasab, no real heat, since I don’t remember this being a problem in the past, I might have just gotten a bad batch. Best Japanese food in the area.

Best sushi around! My wife and I love Japanese food and we come to Dynamite Sushi all the time. We keep coming back for two reasons: Delicious Food and Great Service.
This is a family owned and operated restaurant and the owners, Ho and his wife Miya, do everything they can to provide a great experience. Depending on how busy it gets you might have to wait a bit for your meal, but when your food arrives it will be well worth the wait. From sushi to sashimi and the most creative rolls you are guaranteed a great time. From time to time they offer a selection of Korean specialty dishes as well. Be sure to order the bulgogi sampler.

Love it here! My girlfriends and I have been going for years and I have never been disappointed. Their Hot and Sour soup is the BEST and the Crab Rangoon is delish! Sushi is always fresh. This place is a hidden gem although they always have a steady crowd.

I used to come here frequently with friends but stopped after a friend asked the sushi chef to customize a roll for her and he refused. I remember the place being packed and lines out the door. No, the service was never good, but the delicious sushi made up for it.
I went last Saturday night at 6:00 PM and there were only two other tables with diners.
My dining companion has an addiction to shumai and so we ordered some. They were crispy and delicious and served with tempura battered sweet potatoes. Yum. The mustard sauce they serve with them was amazing. I’d love to buy it by the bottle.
We ordered a few types of rolls, including the crazy maki. Most were. .. ok. Not amazing as I remember. The crab salad maki tasted stale. The shrimp in the crazy maki was hard and tough like it has been cooked way ahead.
The food quality has definitely suffered, but our waitress was very attentive and her service was very good.
By the time we left the restaurant, we were the only table. The place was empty at prime time on a Saturday night. Such a shame.
