I would say this is one of those unique Hudson, Florida type instutiions. This is not an upscale bike shop. They do repairs and deal in used bikes. Herman is a nice guy with a wry sense of humor. Bike repairs are pretty reasonable. There is a mountain of bicycles inside that indicates he may have something of a hoarding problem. :) But he loves bikes and is happy to get you back out there on your all carbon Cannondale. or Huffy.

Herman is my HERO !!! My husband has a really bad back — and — after days of calling bike shops all over FL — I finally found a dealer who had the DAY6 bike I was looking for(as a birthday gift for hubby) After talking to Herman on the phone about this particular bike we decided to drive up to Hudson, FL(5 hrs from Ft Lauderdale — no less) and try one out !! To make a long story short — we wound up buying two DAY6 Dream bikes — soooo — we now have HIS&HERS — go figure :-) Herman also spent an hour out in his parking lot making sure they were each adjusted(seats & handlebars) specifically to our individual height and arm lengths !! Herman is awesome — and he definitely knows his bikes :-)

I went into this place to look for a decent used bike. The shop is packed from top to bottom with bike parts. The shop is a mess to say the least. I said, «wow, I’m in bicycle over load». It was meant to be an innocent statement but the owner took exception to it and called me a «Wise Guy». I over looked that but when he told me he wouldn’t sell me anything but a $ 600 bike and proceeded to tell me to go to a flea market to buy my bike, I left with my money in my pocket. Do yours a favor and stay away from this grumpy old man. I gave it one star because I couldn’t give it Zero. The biggest tool In that shop sits behind the counter.
