This is the perfect townie dive bar. Good bartending with plenty of banter back and forth. Always have a game of sorts on. Cheap drink prices, the best homemade apple pie shots you can get. Busch light silos for 3 bucks! They have pizza right now and they used to have a kitchen and are working on getting it back in there.

The biggest reason the Hubs and I love to go to Ellie’s is the people. We are (AHEM) 30 somethings and we usually don’t go on the weekends because of the VERY young crowd and the DJ, but if that’s your thing it’s perfect for Ya! We love to go on weekday evenings when it’s just the TouchTunes playing and some regulars and our fave bartenders for some fun conversation and sports on the tube. Big Jon’s Grill cooks up some VERY good burgers and currently has my favorite chicken strips in town!!! He hand breads them and they are huge and so fresh tasting! There’s a huge patio for winter or summer as well!

Great place to go on the weekends if you want to dance. Although the dance floor is small it is better than most places in Hudson. They have a great patio plus a couple pool tables. I always seem to end up here at the end of the night.

Has a history of serving until patrons are extremely drunk, serving underage persons and also long standing issues of continual fights outside… to the point that the Police have a wireless camera pointed at their front door to record the fights.

A great place for the 21 – 25 year old crowd to hang out real busy on weekends good drinks and not over priced specials during the week
