Just had an amazing soup(Spicy Tofu Seafood Soup). Very rich flavor, lots of contents, VERY spicy. Also had the Crazy Sake Roll, which I can also highly recommend. My wife was also quite satisfied with her Avocado Salad, very tasty as well. Watching the sushi chef work at the bar is a delight and results are delicious.

I came here with a Groupon and was overall very pleased. The sushi was great. The only issue: we ordered vegetarian dumplings and they brought us ones filled with meat without telling us. I am a vegetarian and ate one without checking first. We asked and they said they had run out of the veggie ones. My boyfriend ended up eating them(he’s not vegetarian) and they still charged us for it. I’m still giving the place three stars because I really liked everything else.

Our family loves this place and dine here at least once a week. Sashimi is my favorite, yellow tail salad was fantastic if you like it on the spicy side. Kids love the chicken teriyaki meal that comes with soup, salad and ice cream.

The albacore tuna was delicious tonight. Very fresh and lightly seared. «If you have the means, I highly recommend it!»

Went here for sushi recently and they greet you with a warm wet washcloth that you realize is heavily drenched in some flowery perfume only when it’s too late and you’ve already wiped this horrible smell all over your hands. Can’t they give you an unscented hand towel? Further, there were glade plug-ins in the dining room too– which(according to the American Lung Association) are highly toxic and emit dangerous chemicals. My allergies we’re going haywire. What smells are they trying to cover up with all these air freshener and perfumes? I go to a restaurant to enjoy the sights and smells of the FOOD not«springtime mist» all over the dining room and my hands. Total fail — I won’t be back.

Recently I had an unfortunate experience at the bar where there were a ton of fruit flys. I saw many fly into the soy sauce and all around the wine, to the point where I felt nauseous knowing I was dipping my sushi into the soy sauce that was saturated with dead fruit flys.

I am a big fan of avocado salad and I have to say that they have the best salad dressing of all the sushi places I have been to. Also the sushi sauce is the best. The food is so fresh and taste so good. It’s my favorite sushi place for me. The restaurant is cozy(tables r a bit too close to each other but the food is so good till u forget how close you r to the next table :) and the servers r really nice.

By far the worst sushi I have ever had. The cucumber in my spider roll and side garnish was wilted and brown. The tako(octopus) sashimi I ordered was also brown so it was thrown away!!! For spending as much as I did I expect fresh ingredients. What a totally disappointment. Not to mention, the hostess was extremely pushy and rude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Almost $ 60 down the tubes and that didn’t even include the tip. I will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. wOw!!! Your hostess and sushi chef should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Delicious sushi. I would have given this restaurant a five star exempt i was given a super small wasabi and super small portion pickled ginger. When i say small i meant one pea size. we had a take out so this is a no no. I don’t exactly have wasabi or pickled ginger on hand.

Who would guess that Hudson would have this great little Sushi bar?! Nicely decorated restaurant with tables for two or four, if you have a little time to relax for lunch or dinner. Terrific service. Really creative and tasty fusion ideas from these sushi chefs, as well as Traditional Japanese dishes along with some new combinations. Boxes for lunch, and wonderful menu for take-out. Nice to have a closer choice than Bamboo, and sushi may be even better.

Standard fare really, me and my wife have ordered out mostly from here but we’ve also dined in before the food is always alright. Be aware though when you order out you don’t always get the sauces that come with the non-sushi meals, for example I ordered a Japanese chicken dish but it didn’t come with the sauce so I was basically just eating a breaded piece of chicken on rice at my house. My wife does say that there sushi is pretty good especially for the Hudson area.

We went there on Easter Sunday, so literally there were no other patrons. We were quickly seated and our food arrived within 10 min. Everything that we had was delicious! And we were pleased with the prices too. Crazy sake roll — yummy!

I absolutely loved the two rolls I ordered, the crunchy spicy tuna roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The crunchy spicy tuna roll had the perfect balance of heat, and I loved the tuna itself. In the shrimp tempura roll, the shrimp was pleasantly warm, and they drizzle the perfect amount of sauce on top. I recommend sitting at the bar.

This is HUDSON, MA. Can’t get any more«back road» suburbia than this. A stone throw from Sudbury, a short drive will save you $$$$ on a sushi fix without compromising quality. OISHII is great. Pricey. Has a bit of a vibe, sure and some really creative rolls. But if you are on a slight budget and want to have a SUPERB dining experience, head over to Hudson, tell Chef Steve that Rita and Joe sent you, and you will have enough dead presidents left over to head over to The Rail Trail and enjoy the crazy bar vibe, grab some brew’s and then trek straight home down 27. Easy. As for Feng, we HAD to come for our fix. Chef is a master authentic chinese soup maker, and this winter, he has produced some fabulous samplings to warm you up before sushi. His mussel thai soup is crave worthy — chock full of super clean mussels, lemon grass, heat, this soup hits ALL senses — savory, umami, sour, sweet. Broth is delicate and heart warming. As for their sushi, after a BAD sushi experience over at the struggling Cheng Du(and we only went there because we were at Julios for our after the holiday stock up on wines) and their lackluster sushi, I had to have a palate cleanser. Why OHWHY sushi rice is NOT fresh EVERYSINGLETIME, is a mystery to me… but FENG will consistently deliver fresh and flavorful rice, tight rolls that are plump with fish and bursting with flavor. Always ask what came in — Chef will make sure you walk out happier than a clam swimming in chowder. There are many sushi places in the area, and actually, I’ll hit them all over the next couple of months, ordering the same item, and blog them on , and of course HERE on my Unilocal family. I plan on hitting Sudbury, Northborough, Marlborough, Hudson, Natick and Framingham — so stay tuned, stay hungry and curious!

Tried the bento box with my bf for the first time. We got chicken and beef and split it. Everything tasted so different… but it was really, really good. Fresh & hot, just the chicken was a bit overcooked… over all amazing… as always.

I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for this place. I’ve been here more times than I can count and I’ve been going since the opening. It’s my permanent spot for every other friday, and I still go here even though I’ve moved from Hudson to Clinton, so it’s more of a trek. WORTHIT! The sushi is great, the fish is always fresh and I super trust these guys(never been ill or eaten anything even remotely off). The food is really good and consistant and the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. I’m sometimes a fussy foodie, and I make weird subsitutions but I never hear a peep of complaint. If you want a place where you are guarenteed to get what you order with a smile, then go here. Excellent for dine in or take out.

My husband and I love this place. He always orders the BBQ Squid. I always get Fried pork Gyoza. Not everything we have gotten here is amazing but the waitstaff is really friendly. You can usually find good coupons for this place in those local coupon magazines that come in the mail(Like Clipper Magazine, but you can also get it from the clipper magazine site). The great thing about this place is that they have really some unique dishes that you don’t find at a typical Japanese restaurant. We have a baby(4months), the waitresses here get excited when we come in because they know we let them hold him and play with him. We always have a good time here.
