My wife and I have shopped at Heathers for years and love the products they offer. Recently, due to having a newborn and it being winter, we decided to order some of our favorite spice blend and have it shipped to us… that was the biggest mistake we have made in a long time. When we placed the order we were told it would take a little extra time because they were doing inventory, it is a small business so that was understandable and not an issue, so we put half down(we ordered over 2 pounds of spices so a down payment made sense). Two weeks after placing our order we called to check on the status and were told it would probably be several more weeks before they ordered the product we wanted… that would have been nice to know from the beginning, when we think«a little extra time» we were thinking a week or so, not over a month! When the product finally arrived in their shop they called to let us know so we could given them an address for shipment. About an hour later we get a voicemail that they forgot to subtract the down payment from the total and had charged us the full amount and they would give us a gift card of the over charge(excuse is their system is old and doesn’t allow them to do refunds, which seems extremely scary for anyone that shops their, hope to god they don’t mess up a charge because you can’t get it fixed!!!). When I called to complain about the whole ordeal they were certainly friendly and seemed to be sorry for the issues but an «I’m sorry» just hardly seems enough for the headache this was. Would I recommend the shop? Of course, they have great products and it is always good to support local business… Would I recommend ever placing an order to be shipped? Not a chance! Hopefully they take this experience to look into updating their payment system and work on their communication with customers!

Cool stuff in the store. However, I had to return one item and while they accept credit cards for payment they refuse to refund to credit and only offer in store credits. Not cool.

I LOVE this little store! There are so many unique kitchen items. I love the selection of loose leaf teas… especially the Southern Pecan and Black Mango. They always have various samples of dips and popcorn out to try. They also sell chocolate covered bacon… yum! Their collection of unique and adorable teapots and quirky kitchen utensils makes me smile. I have a Russian nesting doll tea set(it’s a pot that stacks with two cups) that my sister bought me as a gift after I fell in love with it while shopping here.

My husband loves this place; I’m not into crazy hot things, but they really have an assortment of items, not just hot sauces. Their pre-made rubs are great– people always rave about our short ribs when we coat them in Heather’s Rub. This year we also remembered to buy the brine mix for our turkey at Thanksgiving and rubbed it with the poultry mix! Awesome!

This place was sooo cool! I really enjoyed browsing through the nifty gadgets and usual spices and hot sauce. This place is great to find small gifts to cooks or food enthusiasts! Definitely go check it out! It’s totally a gem!

A really cool spot where my wife and I discovered Texas Longhorn Bread & Butter Jalapeño Mix. This stuff is worth its weight in gold! Mix with a little whipped cream cheese and let it sit a day or two and it’s a perfect spread on crackers or pretzel chips! Every spicy chile sauce known in the Western world is available here and several are available to sample. A fun and friendly place to browse in Hudson, especially for the forlorn male whose wife is down the street clothes shopping. We’ll be back soon once our supply of jalapeño mix is depleted!

This store is fantastic. They have everything you need when it comes to cooking spices, rubs, recipes and just a unique way to cook. My brother dragged me in here, and I was shocked to find such a great selection of BBQ sauces.

Great hot spot! Whenever I visit Ohio, I stop here for some delicious spicy treats. My favorite is the rasberry wasabi mustard. It’s yummy on everything and very low in calories. The owner says it’s their best seller. This time I bought 2 jars… yummy!

If you are a foodista like me who cannot imagine a Sunday afternoon that doesn’t involve liberally applying a rub over a pork shoulder or brisket, Heather’s is a MUSTSTOP. This little shop is filled with different spices, rubs, hot sauces, and creative kitchen gadgets. And you can sample a variety of their sauces and rubs because they make dips with them and serve them with pretzels and tortilla chips. Knowledgeable staff and great recipes!
