Pano’s Roast Beef

The large roast beef sandwich was delicious (with onions and BBQ sauce) and their curly fries were very good too. All 4 of us were very satisfied (all RB sandwiches) and are definitely returning. By far the best roast beef sandwich in the Nashua, Salem and Lowell area!

Soooo good. I wish they were in Nashua. The location is tricky to find, but worth the effort.

Not a bad sandwich. The beef was good. Got the small and the bun was soggy. Maybe the super is on a better roll. Fries were very greasy. Beats eating at McDonalds but nothing like a roast beef from Beachmont in Revere, MA.

I can only echo what everyone else is saying. This is a great roast beef sandwich. The large was plenty big and I can eat. French fries were excellent and plenty of them. My wife and I split a small order.
Very reasonable prices too. The owners are super nice and they work their butts off.
If you are a fan of the Roast beef sandwich, you owe it to yourself to eat here.

Just ate a late lunch here, and regret not ordering the largest roast beef sammich. Two thumbs up, nothing else to add. I didn’t get any sides so I can’t speak for them. Lady behind counter was very thorough, asked if I could eat this and that (allergy concerns).

Super pastrami sandwich with mayo onion and provolone cheese so good I can’t try anything else on the menu because I just have to get it every time! They make it all fresh so call your order in ahead to save having to wait a bit.

The owners are wonderful and the roast beef is the best! It’s better than Kelly’s and I love Kelly’s!

This place is a real gem. We all love Kelly’s, but I think this place should 100% be part of the discussion. The roast beef is excellent and served on an onion roll. I like to get mine with grated horseradish, raw onion and their special spicy sauce. It’s a small place, and the owners are super friendly. The prices are great as well. Highly recommend this place for whenever you’re craving an awesome roast beef sandwich.

Small shop owned by hard working people that care about what they serve. Quality is always spot on, service is always friendly, and the roast beef is always fresh. A limited menu but I come for the beef so that’s ok by me. It’s clean, simple, but always a fine place to grab a good sandwich at a very reasonable price.

I think we must have gone on an off night because we weren’t impressed. I think we would have gotten a better sandwich at Arby’s. All of the amazing reviews got us really hyped up to try this place but the bun was really soggy, the fries were hard as a rock, and the beef was bland.

Been going here for the past year once a week. Best Food in the area! Their Roast beef is so tasty and their three way with BBQ, Mayo and cheese is to die for! Their cheese steaks are the best, not greasy. Best fried mushrooms and curly fries. Love the Gyros and Salads. Very good buffalo chicken sandwich. All this for a great price and awesome couple that works there. I wish they opened more stores. They are dedicated to what they have which makes it so special!

It’s hard to say this but panos roast beef is the best roast beef i have ever had, and i have tried a lot of different places.

Great food and even better service! I love the roast beef here. It tastes great and is nice and rare. If rare isn’t your thing, just ask them to cook it for you and they will gladly cook it to your liking. The super beef is served on an Onion roll with a heaping of roast beef. My favorite topping is the BBQ sauce.
The service is fantastic. The owners are always very friendly no matter how busy it is. My order is also always correct and they always read it back when I order it and once I pay/​receive it. It’s the one place in the area I can go and always get great food, service, and a correct order every time.

Food was good, not amazing. We were clearly there for the first time and didn’t get any help on the menu or process. When leaving, it was a little less busy and the female owner was much more personable.

These guys have simply the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had. *Kelly’s* and *Bill and Bob’s* pale in comparison.
They seem to consistently use the freshest and most flavorful beef imaginable, cook it to perfect rareness, daily, right on site, cut it fresh for every sandwich, and serve it in a wonderful, friendly, family atmosphere. It melts in your mouth, and it is simply extraordinary.
Their homemade sauce is also great.
And their pastrami is wonderful.
I have heard complaints about their fries and onion rings, but I have also heard that they are the best fries and onion rings in the world, so that seems to be a matter of taste. Personally, I like them fine.
Anyone who avoids these guys because of the dubious bad reviews are really missing out.

The owner and who I believe is his wife are super friendly. The dine in area is relatively clean, though sometimes they lack on wiping down the tables. It’s a very small interior, but I almost always get the food to-​go anyway so it doesn’t impact my review whatsoever.
As far as drinks, you would be best off going next door to Dunkin Donuts or across the street to Market Basket and grabbing a soda there, as their selection is very small and the bottled drinks are over priced, IMO.
Regarding food, which is what this review is really about, you can’t ask for a better roast beef sandwich. I got a Super Sized roast beef sandwich, which comes on an onion roll. The roll itself seemed to be lightly grilled to perfection. The roast beef is perfect, sliced well, pink, soft, and without any rough spots that make it too chewy. It’s buttery soft and I couldn’t think of a way to improve it. I got mine with lettuce, BBQ sauce, cheese, and onions. Sandwich itself was about $ 5.50, and I ate half for lunch and half for break later in the day. Great Value.
I also got a side of Curley fries, which were very well prepared and totally delicious, but it’s worth noting they are not hand-​sliced and are frozen premade fries. Still, they’re very good, crispy, but a tad under seasoned (which is expected for frozen fries).
All in all, if you wanted to get s good roast beef in the Nashua /​Hudson area, this is the only place to consider. Head and shoulders above any other roast beef shop, and there is a reason why it’s remained in business for decades. ⁵⁄₅ stars for the sandwich, ⁴⁄₅ for fries, get your drinks elsewhere, and dining in is passable. Staff is super friendly and professional.
Summary:
If I cared about the following, it would lose a star for: frozen, under seasoned fries (still tasty!!), less than stellar dining in, and lack of drink selection /​no fountain drinks. ⁵⁄₅ sandwiches, which is the ‘meat’ of the whole place, so that’s what I’m giving them. Go try it for yourself!!! You won’t be disappointed

Crazy huge portions of fries and rings with the dinner plates. The take out container was full of fries and onion rings to the point that the chicken fingers came in a separate bag. Lol
Roast beef sandwich was comparable to Bill and Bobs or Liberty Bell. Thin sliced, rare and warm. Delicious! Great prices, great food. Minus one star for the uncaring attitude of the old lady taking our order. I asked if they take AMEX and she pointed to the wall where the visa/​MasterCard sign was. Off to the side and barely noticable mind you. Whatever… the foods good. Lol

Went here today with my parents on a whim. I have lived in Hudson since 1996 and have driven by this location numerous times without thinking to stop by until today.

Delicious. Simple. Fresh. We each had a roast beef sandwich with condiments; I chose mustard and mayo. The beef was tender, moist, and very tasty. Curly fries on the side to share.
The place was very, very clean to boot.
If you’re looking for delicious fresh «fast food» at very affordable prices, I recommend this place. Will definitely be back!
