This is great addition to the town of Hudson. The children’s section is especially nice, as is the staff working that section. The adult section is a little sparse, but that’s the nature of the beast with small towns. The community programs and outreach they have are exceptional as well. I do have a couple things that kept this from five stars. The Saturday hours are a little odd. This is the only day some can go and they are only open till one. The media selection, outside of movies, is a little lackluster. Also SOME of the staff can be curt at times. Most are not that way but I have encounter it enough for it not to be an anomaly.

I’ve been running a board game day (second Saturday of every month) here for a couple of years now and the library staff has been very accommodating and kind. The facility is very clean and up-​to-​date with modern technology.
The staff works hard to bring the idea of a library into the 21st century by not being just a place of reference and entertainment, but also a curated connection and experience with the surrounding community. Local art is on display every month, the children’s programs are expansive, and many events like the game day are held there, routinely.
It’s a better library than the town deserves and should be cherished by its taxpayers.

Beautiful library. Collection is moderately sized but I know this is because they don’t have room for everything they’d like to order. The reference librarians are quite helpful and friendly. However, I cannot give 4 or 5 stars because some of the front counter staff are nice to some people but definitely not to others, making me cringe every time I want to check something out. I truly don’t understand the prejudicial treatment of patrons, as I go out of my way to be undemanding, pleasant and polite with everyone I meet. Makes me sad.

Great place to sit and read. Building is brand new and everything is nice and clean. Like the previous person before me thus building truly is great inside and out!
Library has complimentary wifi while you surf the web soaking in the wonderful chilled air. When it’s 90+ outside you want to be here. Quite and a great place to be left alone to study!

This is a brand new library. It’s beautiful inside and out.
There are loads of clean, new computers to use and there is a very large collection of books and movies.
The children’s room is fantastic. Aside from the books and movies, there are puppets, games, puzzles and toys. The staff is very nice.
