Small and friendly, slightly overpriced lattes, but always friendly staff. Location is kind of interesting and it feels a little out of place, but who cares? It’s the inside that counts. ;) There’s either a young, solo artist playing an acoustic set, or an older bluegrass band on any given open mic night. Either way, it’s certainly an interesting experience, but can get loud if you came to try and study or read. There’s a ton of seating and plenty of plugs on the wall, something I often miss out on. I enjoy this place overall and will continue to come back when I feel I have overstayed my welcome at Sparrows.

never even noticed this quaint coffee shop before. My daughter and I enjoyed sandwiches, hot chocolate and a delicious cider chai drink.

Just when I think that no one knows how to make a good cup of coffee I find a place like this. The coffee was so well done I was wishing for a larger cup. The prices were reasonable. And the service was friendly along with a welcoming, warm atmosphere. I hear they sometimes have music that is usually Christian based but that I will avoid. So when, not if, I return it will be to relax in a quiet small town espresso café with my cappuccino. Ahhh! The good life.

Good smoothies and friendly service. Just make sure to check music calendar on their website first though. :)

It was my first time visiting this coffee house nestled next to the Family Fare in Hudsonville. First impressions are generally positive. Comfortable atmosphere and prices aren’t as bad as I’ve seen at other cafes. Tonight there was live music, which I would normally love, except that is was a Christian duet, and I’m not into Christian at all. It was like having a coffee at a church. And I am not a churchgoing guy. Otherwise, the service was great and the Mocha I had was good. Although I must admit I’m not an expert in coffee.

Great place to do some Homework or study for tests. I am a local Highschool student who often falls back on this place for a hangout. Because of the great drinks and music.

This is going to be a mixed review, but the important thing to remember is the overall impression was positive. I had their coffee and Barbeque and though it was not real southern Barbeque it was quite tasty. The coffee was good. My daughter had a salad and it was not fresh. And by the way, she is a salad expert. She always has salad at most every restaurant. She rated it at the bottom. It was a very limited menu, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It is after all a coffee shop. So to get a good Barbeque sandwich was a plus. We happened to be there on a night when a live band was playing. It was folk music and my teenage daughters were not making the musical connection and frankly, neither was I. The place filled up right before the band started. Everyone seemed to know everyone else. This place of business seemed to quickly transform into a hang out for a select group of old timers. Not saying there is anything wrong with this, but I personally would not plan a stop here when folk music crowd is jamming. I will definintely go back for coffee and maybe another barbeque sandwich.
