Seem to have really stepped up their beer game lately. Great low ABV Belgians and IPAs lately. And some tasty dark beers also. Comfortable, cozy place.

If you are looking for a place to get served food and be introduced to a full experience I would not recommend Pike 51. My husband and I are in the beer industry and wanted to check out a new brewery and enjoy some dinner on our day off. We were greeted with a menus already on the table and our server simply said, «If you want anything come to the bar and order through me.» Not hello, welcome, my name is… nothing. We scan the room and we are one of three total tables. We go up place our orders. She sets our beers lists them and points and walks away. We get up again to go order our food. She then places a number on our table for the food runner to find our table. We are now one of two tables. I get thirsty for water during our dining experience and my husband gets up again to get us water. Note: if you are going to make guests serve their own waters at least offer larger cups than 8oz. He had to get up three times during our experience just for waters. Then to end we got up again to pay. 6 times getting up and around during our experience. Not exactly a relaxing place to enjoy someone’s company when you have to pinball all over the place during your stay. I understand this method if very busy. But this seems like a very missed opportunity to make connections and encourage new repeat customers. The beer on the other hand was very clean and done well. We especially enjoyed the Sours. The food was misrepresented. Be advised, the Asian Fritters are nothing more than chicken fingers chopped up, tossed in Asian zing and with some generic wonton noodles on top. Pretty pricey for chicken fingers if you ask me. Lots of potential here with the beer being very well done. Unfortunately it takes the full package to get people to spend their time, hard earned money, and the gas for the trip. Will not be recommending.

We love this place! Beer options are plentiful but wine selections are mostly fruity. I wish there were a few more dry reds and dry whites. The sangria here(both the white and the sweetheart red) are my favorite sangrias of all time. Food options are limited, but the fried pretzels are AMAZING, ask for ranch with them, I think it’s better than the beer cheese. I do think they need more help though, always takes a few minutes to be served and staff seems overly busy. Overall such a great spot. We’ll be back!

Love this place. Loved the beer, wine was very refreshing, and the food was very good. I will make sure to stop by when I can. Great outdoor area

I was really hoping for a good beer. That didn’t happen. I would consider the food something comparable to what you would get at a mediocre county fair. Maybe with time this place will improve, for now I would consider a bud lite and chicken Mc nuggets a step up.

I love coming here on Mondays for trivia. Getting together with friends to drink a cold beer, wine or even a homemade root beer is just a great time here. The owners have always been there to talk to and the brewer Jeff is super cool. Always a great time. Please come and check it out for yourself.

Amazing beer. I’ll put Jeff the head brewer up against anyone in west Michigan. Great food

They should have stuck with wine.

Signage could be improved. Pike 51 shares space with the winery that gets top billing. We stopped for lunch and a brew and were not disappointed. We were a bit early so my wife spent $ at the discount shop next door. I loved the Cush IPA and Sally had their home brew root beer. Both were very good. Food was excellent and a bit out of the ordinary. Well worth a stop.

On a run through some Michigan breweries and stopped here for some tastes. They have food, but we just tried their brews, which ranged from ok to really good. Feels more like a winery than a brewery, but enough good brews to make the stop worthwhile.

Wonderful. As I sit at the bar. I talk with some new and old friends. Beer fantastic! Those brewers know what they are doing! The wine is really good too, don’t let it go untried. Need some food? Don’t worry they can support your need to feed. Pulled pork should say enough.

Hudsonville Winery/Pike 51 Brewing Company was a nice stop on our way from Grand Rapids to Chicago. They offer 4 oz. samples of beer OR wine for $ 2 and have a decent amount of booze to choose from. The Hopnosis Imperial IPA(nice and hoppy) was by far my favorite but we ended up leaving with a bomber of an Imperial Brown Ale(decent) and a skull bottle of blueberry wine too(the wine was JUST for the skull bottle, but still). Success! The tap room is small and skinny and pretty much just holds a long stone bar.(There may have been tables in the back but I didn’t get that far as I parked my butt right in the first bar stool and stuck there drinkin’.) The tap list was decent… there was at least a dozen Pike 51 brews to try and all were good, just not taste bud killing like I enjoy(it’s not for everyone, but I like flavors to punch me in the mouth). There’s also a little store in the front where you can buy some beer or wine to go which is a great strategy for sales with an impulse buyer like myself. The bartender was really nice and accommodating, answered our questions, told us a little about the place, gave us free stickers(thanks!) etc. She even put on the Bears game for us too. Overall: The wine was meh and the beer was good. I’m not sure that I would make a special trip out here again, but if I am ever in the area, I would definitely stop by to see what new brews they’ve got going.

EXCELLENTBEER — I have had a few of their offerings Kush IPA, Batch 51, Cherry Triple, Sinister Kid… and found all of them a delight. Also enjoyed some of the food available to be quite good as well. The Shrimp Scampi was fresh tasting, but could use a bit more of the butter garlic sauce as it is served with some sliced baquette — of which wiping the bowl added more to the dish experience. The Drunken Mushrooms are excellent. The Potato Skins are fine. The Chicken Drummies are large, nice and crispy, but a little tasteless in themselves… the BBQ sauce does help in this regard. The place is small, but adds to an intimate experience with other patrons and staff. Anyway, the beer was so good that I opted to be a ‘Pub Club’ member. I recommend this place for a casual night out for beer sampling and some good eats, but don’t take away from the great tasting brews.
