My boyfriend and I went here on New Year’s Eve. It was alright. Staff wasn’t very friendly here. However, at the travel center next door I went to the game room and cashier was a very nice gentleman. I didn’t catch his name unfortunately. I enjoyed the travel center but not the casino. Only gave it 3 stars because I came out a little ahead.

This is a pathetic casino. It has only 3 black jack tables, horrible dealers and even worse patrons. The slots are basically a shakedown as they have awful payouts and all employees smile and agree with you. Went once and will NEVER be back. This casino is clownshoes.

I really enjoy going to all you can eat crab legs on Friday nights. Wonderful wait staff and great food. I really enjoy the casino and know that alot of avid gamblers like the games at the Grant location. However… I usually come only to gamble once out of every 2 months and spend 50 dollars and have never won anything. I hear you have to spend more to win more. Nah… I just go for the crab legs.

First, let me say I am not a gambler. If I get ahead $ 5.00, I am tempted to cash out my money. I only have the boats in Shreveport to use as a comparison. I feel that Choctaw Casinos beat the boats in the smoke free department, but that’s about it. I would like to see the casino offer beginner tables where we could sit and be taught how to play the card games. I just play the penny slots while waiting for our table in the restaurant. We go to the buffet about 3 — 4 times a year. On Fridays, they have crab legs which my husband loves. He says they are very good. I usually get the popcorn shrimp, salad, rosemary potatoes, and desert. The shrimp has too much breading. The desert tastes too processed, but I like everything else. The reason for the fourth star is the wait staff. They are fantastic!

went back this weekend and my feelings are the same. i am just used to higher quality casinos. as much as i like to gamble, i also like to go to casinos for the atmosphere and to hang out. unfortunately, again and again, Choctaw in Hugo has proven that they can’t be what i am needing them to be. the machines need to have maintenance more often and replace them if they are broken. i sat down at too many machines that had broken or inoperable buttons or buttons that were too hard to press. if i am going to sit there and spend my hard earned money at your establishment, you owe it to me to provide a decent machine to use. the waiters and waitresses don’t come around often enough. if you get up to get a drink, you will likely lose your seat/machine. i was only asked if i wanted a drink one time in 5 hours.
