Verizon Authorized Retailer – Wireless Zone

We purchased my daughters iphone from here. Any time within the first year that we’ve had to go in for service, they send us away and tell us that we need to go to the apple store. We went in there last night because the replacement phone that she’s had for barely over 30 days is now having issues (No touch screen). We go in there and the kid (Connor) doesn’t even touch the phone and says «Here’s the number to call to file a claim» (we have insurance on the phone) I asked him why would I file a claim? He never looked at it or even so much as picked it up off the counter. He has no idea what is wrong with it. It hasn’t been dropped in water, there are no scratches, dings or dents, the screen isn’t cracked. The phone is in excellent condition besides not being able to use it. Why should I pay a deductible to get another POS phone when the insurance is for when I’ve done something to the phone and need it replaced, not because the phone itself is faulty. The store manager was sitting right there and offered no resolution. The kid copped an attitude and was giving 1 word answers. I asked him for his name and as he answered I heard the store manager chuckle so I turned around and asked him are you the manager. He said yes, so I asked him his name. He hesitated and said «What?» I repeated the question, he hesitated again, and finally said his name is Sean. I asked if that was really his name or if he’s trying to give me a fake name. I finally walked back to him and looked at his name tag to make sure it was actually Sean. As I get up to him, he tells me again, My name is Sean, S.E.A.N. (he spelled it for me as if I couldn’t see it with my own eyes). These guys are unprofessional and are crooks. I buy a phone from them and for the first year while under manufacturers warranty I have to go to apple and after the first year I have to file a claim and pay a deductible?! This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with these idiots, but it definitely will be the last. I’m guessing these 2 won’t be there long as it seems that their employee turn over is ridiculously often.
Buy your phones from Best Buy and get their Geek Squad warranty. It’s the same price as Verizon, no deductible and far better service!
