Johnny Cupcakes

Johnny cupcakes is a staple of the Boston area for local clothing brand. Could be compared to black dog or others like that. Kinda pricey. But great quality that lasts a long time. Hull is the original the people working are always friendly and helpful. Great place to stop even if you grab one thing.

A little weird that this boat garage is Johnny’s first store. The store could definitely use more love and attention, like how he did with his Boston, LA, and London store. The store is boring, and outdated. Very limited parking space. Then again, that shouldn’t matter that much since who would stay in this store for more than 20 minutes?
Again, Johnny Cupcakes sells t-​shirts for both men and women, and other miscellaneous items. No cupcakes here. Just shirts with cupcakes on them. The shirts are generally pricey for just one tee. On the website, he says that the shirts that he makes are limited. So once a certain tee is gone, its gone. What is the real reason why these shirts are so expensive? I could design my own tee, and go to a printing press, and have it made… and if it gets a lot of attention, and comments, ill go make more copies of it, and sell them. For $ 35? No. Im not greedy, nor am I trying to open up a shop. $ 10 tops, and ill give you a cupcake too.

This place has fun cool shirts. While they are really expensive (around $ 35 for a t-​shirt), they are worth the money, as I wear my «fat kid eating a cupcake» t-​shirt at least once a week. People regularly tell me how cool and funny it is.
Don’t expect to get baked goods here, though. Opposed to what some of the other reviews have suggested, no cupcakes were being sold the day I was there.
Finally, when you buy a shirt, the salesperson also throws some surprise goodies in the bag.

I recently visited this quaint little beach town for the first time and had to check out the original Johnny Cupcakes store. Nestled inside a converted boat garage is a very unique bakery/​boutique. I can’t spoil any surprises for the curious but inside you’ll find all of the current products as well as a wide variety of bake sale items.
I went here on a Sunday and as we drove through town, it seemed everything was closed except for the grocery store and Johnny Cupcakes. So they get extra points for staying open.
The shop employee Mike was a great kid and very helpful! After completing my transaction he talked with us for a while about everything from movies, music, life, and even gave us some recommendations on places to check out in the area.
For fans of JC who haven’t checked out the Hull store, it’s worth it and those who are just clueless as to what this brand is all about, this is a good starting point! Then you can move your way up to some of the more wacky and crazy locations like Boston, Los Angeles and London.

Once upon a time when I first moved to Hull & Johnny C was just starting to get popular, I walked into the bakery in Nantasket Beach and felt a little foolish when there were boutique t-​shirts instead of cupcakes in those bakery cases! But a great company, a wonderful success story– check out Johnny’s background if you get a chance. Boutique, clever and statement t’s that are a great gift for yourself or others! Online site is good, but the ‘in-​store bakery experience’ is really fun with all the vintage equipment. Very mod, 1950’s and fun…

Since my first blog post was about Sweet Revenge, I should talk about Johnny Cupcake as my next blog post. Johnny Cupcakes isn’t a restaurant that provides delicious food but any foodie out there should be able to enjoy their awesome clothing.
Johnny Cupcakes is a clothing brand that heavily features the brand’s trademark symbol of a skull and crossbones, with a cupcake silhouette replacing the skull. The company started in Massachusetts but has recently has expanded to Los Angeles and London but don’t worry if their isn’t a location in your area. Johnny Cupcakes sell items through its online store and the company «eBay Vault» which offers previously issued designs and exclusive items that were briefly or never available in its stores.
Recently, Johnny Cupcakes has designed some cool Hello Kitty and Nickelodeon shirts that has been quickly selling out from their online store.

Don’t promise your two year-​old a cupcake from Johnny Cupcakes. Or expect a major meltdown when you emerge from said shop with a bag of super cute shirts emblazoned with the «Johnny Cupcakes» logo & adorable cartoon characters. (They also sell hats, tote bags, buttons, hoodies, jewelry, key chains…)
Happy to say, she did calm down when I handed her a super sweet Johnny Cupcakes + Hello Kitty sticker in place of the promised confection. :o)

Ladies, you need to immediately get your asses to Johnny Cupcakes and buy the shirt of the fat boy eating a cupcake. What better gym shirt could you possibly ask for?
…and they run small… I usually wear size small, but purchased a large which fits perfectly as a fitted tee. Now get off the internet and go buy it! Your life will never be the same.
