Aanchor Remodeling

It has been awhile since I had these guys out to replace a window, but if the same guys still work there, I would NEVER RECOMMEND them for anything! My mistake in the beginning was not getting other estimates. I found out after the fact that they charged me double of what other window repair companies charge. But worst of all is that they never even finished the job! The guy who came out did not have the white plastic frame that goes around the window, so to keep the new window in place, he put a ton of caulking around it, while alot of it ended up smearing on the window itself. He said the white plastic «frame» had to be special ordered. He then called me once to set up a time to come and put it in and never showed up. I called to reschedule and it again happened. When I called back to complain, the guy answering the phone said the «repair guy» told him he was showing up and I wasn’t at my house. A total lie! He wouldn’t believe me and said he didn’t know how else to help me. I ended up having another window repair company come out and they couldn’t believe what a mess my window was with all the caulking around it and also said the simple white plastic frame should not have to have been «special» ordered.
If these guys can’t replace a simple window, I would never hire them for any remodeling job!

Worst experience EVER!!! I called these guys for a simple ceiling repair. They guy that showed up appeared to on drugs or something and would not be quiet or still long enought to actually do the work. I felt uncomfortable with him being in my home anf kept an eye on him the entire time. When he did finally work on the ceiling he sprayed some sort of product all over me floor and walls and made a half-​hearted attempt to clean it up. Shortly after claiming to have finished the job, he product that the placed on the ceiling came off. After his second attempt to fix the ceiling, he claimed he would need to come back the next day to complete the job but asked me to pay him in today in CASH before the job was complete. What reputable company does that!!! I told him he would be paid by CHECK once the job was completed and I was satisfied with the work. He then asked me to pay him in advance via check and write the check out ot him. What!!! At this point, I told him to finish the job so I could be done with this nightmare. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
