So far it’s the best Italian food I have had in or around humble/kingwood/Atascocita area. Location is odd but worth a trip. One time they Cosby make fried calamari because their fryer was down — on a Friday night. But I guess that happens

I came here for a company party and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. They served appetizers/cocktails initially and then the dinner afterwards. Apps were set up on a table in the main room, and consisted of their crab dip and stuffed mushrooms. Dinner was filet medallions, zucchini and mashed potatoes. We didn’t really get to choose the dinner entrée, as the company had already chosen this. Service was excellent, but of course I am biased since I came during a special event. The food to me was just alright. Everything was cooked correctly, just nothing really stood out for me. The stuffed mushrooms(with italian sausage) were what I enjoyed the most, and I’m not even a big mushroom person.

This place is horrible, my meal was described beautifully on the menu but came out nothing like what was described and it tasted horrible. I went with like 7 co-workers and no one was pleased with their meal, and it took an hour and a half to get to our table. Definitely would never return here.

Unbelievably amazing. Looked for a place close to the airport for a quick layover meal and this place did not disappoint. Great service and fantastic food. Definitely try if you’re in the area.

This was my first time at Amedeo’s. The meal started with baked brie and crab cakes. Wonderful appetizers! I had the signature lasagna and can honestly say it was the best I have ever tasted. Good wine menu. Service was also very good. Highly recommend.

Great little place with really good food at reasonable prices. You can dress up, or go casual and still fit in. The prices may be a $ 1.00 or $ 2.00 more than a shopping center restaurant, but well worth the difference. We had pasta with traditional Italian flavors, but with a unique family touch. The drinks are good and reasonable, as well as the wine list. Service is top notch. The restaurant is family friendly, but also adult enough for a romantic evening. We will definitely return on our next visit to Kingwood.

Quiet, intimate atmosphere. Attentive professional staff. Dined with three people and all dishes were delicious. Recommend reservations

My wife and I went to the Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant for Valentine’s Day and this place was incredibly dirty. The food tasted gritty and the service was horrid. The entire place smells like a urinal cake and my wife and I both felt ill after eating here. We were not vomiting but we both felt ill enough to realize that this was no coincidence and to NEVER come here again.

I’ve been here twice, and the second time was better than the first. I like that the dining room is sectioned and quiet, and our waitress was attentive, fun and quick to meet our needs. She was very kind towards a member of my party who has a food allergy and needed to ask questions about certain ingredients. There are nice touches, like place settings and proper wine serving techniques that can help a special occasion feel elevated. Both times I’ve found the food to be good. Nothing earth-shattering, but good. The prices are decent for what you get, especially if you consider that the pasta dishes have enough for two meals. All meals include salad and bread too, so there’s another reason to feel comfortable with the price. I like that all of the desserts save for the key lime pie are made in house. I expect that from restaurants that market themselves as being nice. They have a large variety too. That being said, one drawback is that there isn’t more of a dress code enforced. Both times that I’ve come here, I have seen people in clothes that coordinate with the ethos of the restaurant then people in Nike shorts and flip flops. It’s just a turn off. I don’t know what the solution would be because I can only imagine how awkward it is to turn away a customer, but maybe a sign posted could help? So, go to this Kingwood staple if you’re looking for a refined night out with good Italian food, focus your eyes on your plate and not other tables, and you’re good to go!

We just finished having dinner here and were quite impressed. Judd took very good care of us. I started out with the ceaser salad and it was to die for. My husband had the regular dinner salad and he enjoyed it as well. He had the eggplant Parmesan and enjoyed it. I had the veal Marsala and it was delicious. OMG, the dessert blew our socks off. We shared the blueberry white chocolate bread pudding. The best we’ve had since moving to Houston 3 years ago. We will definitely go back.

Great restaurant! Great food. Their toasted Brie is to die for. I always enjoy my dreamsicle martini when I go. Yes, the décor is outdated but that’s ok, the food is why I go. The staff are friendly and helpful. They were a bit slow last time we went but it’s ok, more time to enjoy the appetizers and great conversation. The location is in an older shopping center but there is plenty of parking.

Amedeo’s is the Italian of choice in Northeast Houston. The seafood here is fresh and well prepared. The beef filet is off the charts and the fettuccine pesche dish is a favorite. Will return soon to this landmark that has been here for 30 years.

This is the first time we ate here. The server was very friendly and funny. I had the house chianti which was very good for a house wine. My wife had a peach bellini and it was good as well. I had my usual Cesar Salad and angle hair and meatballs and meat sauce. It was very good. They provided garlic bread with the meal. It was a little pricy but it was worth it. I would eat here again.

Very quiet, relaxing environment. Service and food were excellent! It wasn’t your typical Italian restaurant that gives you so much food before your entrée comes out that you’re not even hungry. They give you a choice of soup or salad and garlic bread. Everything is homemade from what the waitress told us. Excellent. Wine selection was great as well. I will say that the waitress was not the greatest at knowing which wines pair with what. I will be returning here.

My husband and I went the Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant for Valentine’s Day Dinner. We had reservations at another restaurant that ended up closing so we had to find someone else who could take us. On the positive side, they were able to seat us very quickly in the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu was a set $ 42 for 4 courses plus an «Amuse-Bouche». Amuse-Bouche — a small square(1.25″ square) of cheese and mushroom quiche, served cold. Cold, cooked mushrooms do not taste good. Appetizer course — I had the lobster ravioli. 2 of them served lukewarm. Husband had the crawfish balls(can’t remember the name), there were 2 of them and they were about 1.25″ in Diameter. Soup/Salad — I had the Italian Wedding Soup which was lukewarm and salty. Husband had the Cesar Salad which he said had too much cheese. Main Course — I had stuffed chicken. The stuffing was barely there but at least it was hot and the chicken was cooked well. I don’t remember what my husband had. Dessert — I was SO disappointed by the dessert. My husband had the bread pudding which was pretty good. I got the Italian Cream Cake. I really really wanted to like this cake. It was TINY, 1″ wide at the widest part. The cake portion didn’t have any nuts or coconut in it(what makes an Italian Cream Cake) and tasted very strongly of flour. The icing was okay but only had a few nuts in it. It was a flour cake with cream cheese icing. I couldn’t even finish it and I LOVE Italian Cream Cake. I will not be going back there. I have paid more for this amount of food or less but it is only worth it if the quality is there. This food was cold or lukewarm and did not taste that good. We were both very disappointed in this restaurant.

I’ve given this restaurant several tries over the past few years and it consistently disappoints. Whether it’s for work, a large group, a drink at the bar, or an intimate dinner for two, the food always falls short of expectations. I tell myself, «maybe this time it will be better,» but, alas, it’s never to be. Pastas are overcooked and the entrees tend to be bland and lack any real flavor, though the presentation of the meals is nice. Salads and veggies, however, taste pre-packaged. Portion sizes are good, though, and prices are comparable to other higher-end restaurants in Kingwood. Two entrees, an appetizer, and two glasses of wine ran $ 70.

Great place. We went there for a afternoon lunch and the service was great. Our waitress was well knowledge in menu and went out of her way to make sure that we understood all of the servings. Wonderful food.

Good atmosphere – much nicer than you would expect from it’s struggling strip mall location. Good service. Sausage & peppers appetizer is excellent. Photo of pork saltimbucco. Unfortunately I had too many appetizers to enjoy it. Good but chop dry – actually would have been better if pork in flattened filet

Service was fantastic, very friendly, extremely attentive. Young lady was helpful and energetic, served beer in a frozen mud if you wanted. The caprese was outstanding, I never had it served with roasted garlic which I love. The basil leaves were huge so you are going to taste basil. The veal marsala was another traditional dish that was served hot and tasty. On my next trip I will be visiting again.
