Decided to run in and find some really cute work shoes before I headed home. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and immediately greeted whenever i was close enough to an employee. Will be returning. Good job guys!

Love this place! Always have a great selection of shoes at really good prices! The staff is hit or miss. Sometimes you go in and they are overly helpful and sometimes they are not available at all. They do not have baby shoes which is why I am only giving them 4 stars. Other than that I really enjoy shoe shopping here!

There’s a great selection of shoes, but sizes aren’t always in stock. I had two pairs of shoes in mind to get today but they were very low in stock, so I wasn’t able to order. I’ll be shopping online.

They have shoes! Lot’s of shoes! Service has always been good for me at this location, with helpful salespeople on the floor asking to help with the typical large selection of boxes that I end up carrying and with checkout. I’ll agree that on a busy day the lines at the front can be long, but as I end up buying lots of shoes and use coupons and stuff I’m sure that I’m guilty of holding up a line once in awhile. The best way to tackle a DSW if you haven’t been before is to grab a store bag(or two) and start at one side of the store(either heels or sneakers depending on what you are there to buy) and work your way down each aisle. I usually end up with a dozen pairs of shoes but I will then find a quiet aisle spot and go through them out and weed out those that I really don’t want or need, because honestly with so many choices it’s hard to remember what you’ve seen and really want and if I bought all the shoes that I start with I’d go broke. To note, I usually only make a DSW trip twice a year to replenish my shoe obsession. It helps if you bring a friend to shop with you. The back of the store has the best deals(clearance), but you can also find great deals in the regular aisles. DSW is about 80% geared towards women’s shoes and about 20% men’s. Do they have kids shoes? I’ve never thought to look — maybe? They also have a good selection of bags, wallets, accessories, etc. They also seem to have a price range for everyone. If you become a rewards member then you can get coupons in the mail.

not sure whats happened between the first review and now but I have been there twice in June and the service is painfully slow. There is always one cashier tied up with some transaction which seems to take her away from assisting customers, leaving one cashier to tend the line. Ive never undestood why a store with the SAME product cannot manipulate the check out lines much better. To make things worst, I purchased 4 pairs of shoes only to get home and be horrified that my tennis shoes still had the security tag on them! which means, going back to the store and waiting in those horrific lines again. Because– there is no customer service desk for returns, questions, etc. Thus, everytime you need service you HAVE to get in line. I certainly kept my eyes open for any associate in the hopes they may be able to help without the need to stand in the lines. BUT no luck. No associates in sight for the entire 15 minutes I waited in line.

OMG! Can’t believe NOONE has reviewed this place?! So I have the honor of doing so for you! First of all, I’m not a shopper. I don’t like lines and I don’t like shopping, but that’s apart of life! I went into DSW hoping to find a perfect shade of green to go with an outfit that I wanted to wear Easter Sunday. My visit was early in the afternoon Good Friday and the people were THERE! There was a nice long already formed soon as I stepped into the door. At first, I thought about just turning right around and leaving because as I stated already I don’t like lines. However, I decided to peruse the store since I was already there. Lo and behold, my eyes caught hold to a green and gold handbag that looked really close to the phone swatch(picture of the dress) I had. Excited, but not wanting to get in a long line, I walked around the store to see how fast the line was moving – and to see if I really wanted to make the purchase. Since the line was moving pretty swiftly, I decided to get in line and make the purchase. I probably had about 7 customers in front of me, but while I waited a young lady walked up and down the line of customers smiling and thanking us for waiting. WOW! What a difference that makes! For me, acknowledging my value as a customer goes a looooong way! She came by a couple of times and did the same thing consistently when other customers were in line and even asked us if we just had a question or were making a purchase. One more thing that was impressive was her extending and explaining the DSW loyalty program to the patrons in line. Although she handed out paper applications, she informed us that the quickest way to be added would be to verbally give the info to the cashier to enter into the computer. I’ve never received such awesome customer service standing still! Great selection and discounted shoes to choose from. You’d be in this place for hours. Quite organized as well. You’d think for it being Easter weekend the place would be in shambles, but the staff and employees really keep the place spotless. A must visit for any shoe addict!
