This is a place where local kiddie bands get robbed for the first time. Reason I say robbed is the fact that the place charges to record band’s shows at $ 25 a pop and the acoustics are awful. Bands are given 30 minutes or smaller sets and the venue sandwiches as many of these as they can while charging upwards of $ 10 per ticket. Performers get almost no cut at the door, unless they bring in more than 25 people at which point they are given 10%. Compared to other clubs that pay about 60% and up this venue is a total ripoff.
The sound system is a huge joke — it can barely carry the vocals and is easily underpowered by any standard. Maybe it is so bad because the place is a huge concrete square? Management hasn’t even bothered to put up any sound isolation and it shows — the sound is a mess.
Coffee, especially the esspresso is awful.
Most of the items from the menu are not available as they run constant shortages of shakes and other things.
