Newly refurbished, this golf course is just about as good as it gets. Beautifully manicured, thick turf in the fairways, smooth greens. It is as good as any course in Houston, all you can play during the week for $ 31 including cart, though the course seems walkable if you are so inclined. Holes are traditional, mostly wide open, and have some pleasant elevation. Staff is professional, maybe left over from the olé country club days.
On Tuesday there was no people (or cart girl) and the range is closed. Snack bar is open; a beer, Gatorade and good hot dog was $ 8.50. When you get there, park on the far left, get a cart, then drive to the pro shop on the far right.
