First time here. Was getting a pizza to go. Got behind a woman that was placing a multitude of orders for there and to go. Took forever. Not their fault. Place my order and wait and wait and finally after 45 minutes go up to check on my order. Someone tells me another 5 minutes. Ok but they were not busy. Finally pizza is ready and was told by Jazzmine the manager they were sorry and to come on Monday for a free pizza buffet. Decent attempt at customer satisfaction/retention Now for the pizza itself. Unusual cut style but I could live with that. Overall the pizza was decent to good. Some competitors offer a little better value. $ 1.99 per topping is little hefty. Will probably go again but not as early as Monday for the buffet.

I am always looking for a new pizza place and I found Johnny’s on my phone Maps. With 3.5 stars from 34 reviewers and the most recent reviews mostly positive, I figured it couldn’t be too bad. Boy was I wrong. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by the cashier, which wasn’t a surprise considering there was only myself and 1 other table of guests… in the middle of the lunch hour(which should have been my first clue). I opted for the buffet, so I could try some of everything. I checked out the pizza and my jaw hit the floor. Imagine heating a Tombstone frozen pizza then leaving it out for an hour. That is exactly what *all* of the pizzas looked like. Mind you, I arrived at 1215, not 10 minutes before the buffet ended. I looked at the salad bar. Half the lettuce was wilted… but at least the toppings looked somewhat palatable. I almost walked out right then(and should have) but I had already paid and I was starving, so I decided to try it anyway(BIG mistake). The first plate I picked up had a sunflower seed stuck on it. I got another one(this one was clean), loaded it with pepperoni pizza and sat at a table. The pizza was the most bland pizza I have ever put in my mouth. Next trip to the buffet, I got 1 slice of supreme and 1 slice of cheese, in case they were as uninspired as the pepperoni… and they were. At this point, I was thinking how much worse can this get? I didn’t have to wait long for an answer: a dime-sized roach crawled out from under the napkin box, paused, and scurried away. Needless to say, I won’t go back to Johnny’s.

Ok so I am a Pizza Snob. I look for quality ingredints, a killer Cheese, and a crispy crust. Johnny’s NAILEDITPERIOD. We ordered a half ham, and half cheese pizza, as well as a large order of Cheese sticks. OMG they are Legit. The service has been nothing short of amazing. If you are a football fan like me(GOTEXANS!) Then you MUST come here, have a beer, eat some pie, and root for your home teams. Did I mention that the Pizza is AMAZING? WOW!

Sweep the kitchen is the best pizza I’ve had anywhere. Lunch buffet has good choices and they will add whatever you want.

We went here for school spirit night for Atascocita high school. Pricewise I found it extremely extremely expensive. nope this was for off the menu and not the buffet. The quality of the food was good and the pizza tasted fine but was much more expensive than any other pizza place I frequent in the Atascocita area.

This place is great! We came in late in the afternoon and there wasn’t much pizza on the buffet. We were essentially the only people in the restaurant and they made each of us whatever pizza we wanted. Shawn personally delivered the peach pie dessert to our table. The customer service is the best around. We will be back again and again!!!

Hmmm not worth $ 17 for a large cheese with sausage. The sausage was good but in general not my favorite crust or dough. I’ll try another local spot. This one won’t be mine.

Just a over priced cici’s pizza. Went for lunch buffet. Out of about 7 different pizzas atleast 5 of them had mushrooms on it. I hate hate hate mushrooms so I didn’t have many options. Even when they would bring a new pizza out, it had mushrooms. I’m sure I could have requested something but I didn’t feel like waiting around for it to be made. Just stick to cici’s if you want nasty pizza from a buffet, it will save you a few bucks.

Went here for lunch with six other people today. We all had the lunch buffet. The first round of pizza was not fresh, and we thought round two would be better. waited a few minutes for new pizzas to be cooked. Round two was not much better. The pizza was hot, but the taste was not. I really was hoping the food would be better… we were all disappointed today.

So I’m super picky about pizza. I’m one of those people that prefers plain cheese and not a ton of sauce. Wanted to try something different than Dominoes or Papa Johns and this place is so much better! Great pizza, very fast delivery, still hot, just enough sauce, and good crust. Will order again!

This is a solid pizza place. It’s not gourmet but it is a buffet that gives you your money’s worth. Love to bring the kids here for an affordable lunch.

First time eating at Johnny’s Pizza House. Great environment with a live band tonight. The pizza was really good… ask my 4 kids who wolfed down a 14″ and cheese sticks. Sauce is particularly tasty and DONOTPASSUPTHECINNAMONSTICKS! They are amazing. The owner was super nice and made sure my kids didn’t leave without trying them. :)

Went to Johnny’s Pizza House just to try some new restaurants out. Normal pizza place with little to offer. We ordered the«Lots of meat» pizza, but we were disappointed by the disproportionate amount of toppings. Quite expensive for lackluster food. Falls low-mid tier below popular chains(Pizza Hut and Papa John’s) but above oven pizza.

Pretty awesome place. The pizza crust is fantastic and toppings are great. The real gem is the salad bar. It let’s people who do not want pizza come here that would otherwise not want to. Combine that with the awesome staff and great service and this is a real gem.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza to go. Really thin and flimsy, and dark colored. Was wondering if it was burnt. Wasn’t sure if this was supposed to be New York style but even New York style from other places is so much better if so. Pizza on the buffet line looked better than what was in my box. Won’t be back again. update: went back for the pizza buffet which looked better than my take out last time. Nothing really specially but a step up from Ci Ci pizza for sure. Friendly service too.

So there’s two new places in this strip mall and Johnny’s is one of them. Before they opened a few weeks back, we were outside checking them out and the manager came out and said, hey we’re not open yet, but please come back and check us out when we are and gave us a menu. Was very impressed with that… …now fast forward to today and our first actual experience eating there. Walk in and they are moderately busy but we are first in line at the counter. Despite there being 3 employees at the counter, nobody greets us, nobody even makes eye contact with us. After literally like 3 – 4 minutes, the manager(who was having a conversation with the cashier about not being a penny over in the register because some other customer had left an extra penny) finally looks up as says«have you been helped». When I said«No.» instead of helping us, she said, let me get someone to help you(this is a different manager than the original one we met BTW… and they are night and day in personalities). The cashier that did help us wasn’t very friendly either. Did her job, but no smile, no thank you… wham bam, here’s your drink cups. So we’re there for lunch… and they have a lunch buffet(though only for lunch, not for dinner)… ok we’ll try that. Think CiCi’s, but less variety of pizza’s. Not a whole lot to choose from, a few pizza’s, mac & cheese, nacho’s and salsa(weird?), and dessert pizza. The pizza itself was ok. It’s a higher quality than CiCi’s but it’s a chain kinda pizza. Nothing really special about it. Relatively thin crust, good cheese and sauce, but no real pop to the crust flavor or toppings. I’d probably try ordering a whole pizza from them sometime to try it out again, but we left with the distinct impression that this was not going to be a local hangout type of place and if we did return it would be for takeout.
